Nice review Joe. This is an impressive vehicle, it would be great to get a review of the Prestige model - especially those insane power reclining captains chairs in the 2nd row!

Very nice. I drive a Sedona because it's the only van I could find in which the 3rd row seatbelts fit correctly and weren't too far forward. I'm glad to see they are still correctly placed in the Carnival. Well done, Kia.

Started watching a year ago. Under 200k subs then. Gonna be over 500k any day. Now getting links to when he started back in the classroom days. Great channel I watch every few days. Thank joe.

Just wanted to say how sorry I am for the loss of your dog. They give all the love they have to you for just some cuddling and a meal. I’ve owned dogs all my life and can never see me not wanting one. Please accept my sympathy over the loss of your dog. I found out she had cancer that spread to her lungs. The final days of her life were in poor quality, so I had to free her. I lost my childhood friend 😢. I know this is a car channel, and I love Mr. Raiti's work. He gets me through my day.

I really do love that aluminum piece for the C pillar. It definitely gives this vehicle some character. Plus, I'd have to say this is the most attractive MPV ever. Very nice proportions and not overly styled like the new Sienna. Omg that thing is way too much.

It's disappointing the rear tail lamps on the SX are NOT LED. Raiti states they are LED but comparing the SX to the SX Prestige you can see what the LED looks like and it's way better. Can't believe they saved it only for the Prestige trim.

I have only owned Toyota since i was 16. Had 3 toyota's but Kia is killing it so much it actually made me switch to Kia Seltos! Love what Kia is doing!

Oh my god thanks for this review two kids later at 25 I wasn't ready to ditch my 2015 honda fit for a minivan yet. But, this. THIS!!!

Appreciate all your vids Raiti rides! Making it hard for me to choose my next family vehicle lease. Part of me does not want to like this van (and i’m not a huge fan of the new logo) but for the money you really cannot beat what this vehicle offers, especially compared to the competition in its class.

Ikr.they should just stick to SEDONA because CARNIVAL is what we think first is a huge PLAY GROUND for children+adults.

So... just found my family of 6 new “van”.. we had a 2014 Sorento years ago that we out grew then moved into a Toyota Sienna but an older 2005 which has been awesome.. this year we are upgrading and I’d seen the new Sienna that I loved but wanted to get out of the “minivan” arena and low and behold what do we have here!!!! I’m so excited 😆

I flew from WA to OR to get the KIA CARNIVAL SX and drove it back to WA. I gotta say it was worth cashing this bad boy out. Great for road trips! It has a Highway Driving Assist. It's a Level 2 semi-autonomous driving aid that combines adaptive cruise control with lane-centering assistance to make long-distance driving easier. It almost feels like it's a self driving vehicle for the most part. My wife and kids loves it!

I like the textured silver piece behind the sliding door it does break up the black. It’s helps it have that SUV LOOK. If you haven’t noticed Tahoe’s, Yukon’s, etc have a chrome like piece located there.

Loved this review - great job! I like the look of the van (looks like an SUV), but a few design flaws are hard to explain. Placing the rear turn signal on the bottom bumper...really? Look at Volvo, leaders in safety, placing indicators as high up on the car as possible. I can't even understand how this is legal, and in my mind is a serious safety concern as it increases the chances of getting rear-ended. Third row windows also look like tank slits from the inside, not sure kids could even see out those little teeny windows.

Great review Joe - MPV's now, LOL - AKA Mini van. I have to admit, I like it for families. However, major zonk is lack of AWD. How did they miss that, especially in the northeast and mountain zones in the U.S.? Lastly, tough to compete with the Toyota Sienna that offers AWD and Hybrid.

Incredibly helpful video! FYI, the slot between the cup holders where you tossed your keys is a slot to hold your phone! :)

The metallic treatment on the C pillar looks good no Zonks required.. I'm with u on the turn signals in the bumper and the instrument cluster display could be a touch bigger.. one more to add the tailgate release button is abit low for tall people got to bend over to press it.. especially compared to the Sedona which was perfect

Best looking minivan for sure, and technology is great though when we’re talking upper $40Ks I’m expecting full LED taillights, not cheap combination LED ones. Otherwise, Kia has a home run with this 🙌👍.

Agreed. This is 2022. There's no reason to back down on making turn indicators LED front & rear. They're so much brighter & quicker = Safer. It's not cheaper for manufacturers to make some LED & some Incandescent on these models. All should have full LED. Now try & convince Chevy the same thing on their $50,000 Blazer RS line

Great video, quick question does this van has second row window roll down option . ? Thank have a great day.

One of the reasons you should always tuck the rear windshield wiper under the roof like that is that it prevents from 5 year olds from hanging off the back of the van and ripping the wiper off. My kid did to all the Honda Odysseys on the cul-de-sac because, well, he's a kid and it was fun.
