6:41 interior is a great match to the exterior. The interior design is much improved and more inline with their best vehicles. Plenty of carbon spilt around to keep Joe happy. 😎

first review of the glb 250, i have seen with the third row . good job joe

15:33 and we’re “on throttle!” Not super exciting but seems to do a solid job. Haven’t driven this versus competitors but I’m liking the Mercedes more for design and comfort.

Wow, it looks like finally MB completed their new generation design aesthetics in their portfolio. I saw the new E class and was blown away.

I think I’d buy this over any of the mainstream 3 row SUVs. Many people buy bigger cars than they need and for many this would be just as functional and more luxurious.

The adopted kid sits on the 3rd row! Hahaha great review Joe🙌🏽

You did a review on this vehicle already just in a different color. And this might be my first mercedes.

This thing is a three row? Im genuinely impressed they managed to fit that in a vehicle this small. Like really impressed. Like this third row is ACTUALLY what most people are looking for, aka they have 2-3 kids of their own and will likely have their friends every now and then. Like if its used 10-15 times a year, this would be ideal. Obviously if you have 4+ kids that will be in it daily, a fullsize cuv/suv or especially a minivan is still best

Seats are more like a panda! Would be nice to have your comment about how easy it is to access the driver seat in your evaluations. Thank your for your good work!

Nice lookin cube, like the black/white theme. In my country, the Czech Republic, Suzuki s-cross, vitara, toyota croosovers like hr-v, vw cars like t-roc or škoda kamiq/karoq are becoming popular. But they all look like toys. This little Benz, looks like a toy too, but in a good way. Still feels solid. Wish the pricing was a bit more adequate...

It should be priced in the low 40's. I drove it and felt rode noise was too high. Bought a 5,000 miles used GLK instead. V6 300 hp and nicer square design. MLB wins in interior.

Yea, I see your point. The GLK had one but I never used it. No moon roof would be the deal breaker. But you can get the moon roof as an extra.

It's when you ask for all the bells and whistles, which as far as I'm concerned iscacwaste of money. Build your own and you'll get it for less than 45k.

Why dont more manufacturers put remote start on their vehicles at least an option in 2020 my ford escape has it @ 30k. That's a zonk for me!!!

Looks like the AMG package was added on, which IMO isn't worth the extra as I do not see any specs that affect engine perfomrance - looks cosmetic only. If that's the case, you can shave off $5000 or so off MSRP and still have a well apportioned vehicle.

11:21. I’m zonking those nets on the back of the seats. Can’t put my frisbee or toothbrush there. Also no rear twinky or M&M’s storage.

Why do you keep Zonking the fake vents? I understand that they're not functional, but they do provide aesthetic value, so they're worth something. They usually look good and looks are one part of the attributes of a vehicle

At first glance, that giant hood strut looks like a prop rod. Glad that it isn't a prop rod considering what manufacturer it is

I don't know about G-Wagen. This screams more mini GLS design to me with the GLK size.

$50k? You’re pretty much paying for the badge but not quality or even space. For that money you can get a nice Toyota Highlander, KIA Telluride, Hyundai Palisade, Lexus RX, Mazda CX-9, Volvo XC-90, Infiniti QX-60 or evening a Chevy Traverse. They’re not all luxury suvs but they’ll run around this Mercedes for the same or thousands less. This Benz is cool till it gets about 60k miles then starts falling apart and warranty is too short unless you have deep pockets for dealer maintenance. lol

I actually like the GLB but I’m not getting the whole Baby G Wagon thing .. MB missed that mark by a long shot but if they like it I love it. Reminds me of my old GLK. Wish this had a V6 but it is 2020 so I get it . Just not sure why they need yet another "letter" in the lineup. I like the boxy design and the panda color dynamic inside and out but will get dirty as this is clearly for a young growing family. So to be clear an "inflated stepped on marshmallow" would basically be a marshmallow right ? LOL !! 3rd row is for kids only and quite frankly only functions for "tiny" kiddos. G- Wagon comparison is a serious stretch and seems to be a line MB might be spoon feeding reviewers to include in their reviews. I am just not sure this model is needed and if it really addresses any real market demand/need. Only time will tell.

They won't be able to offer 6 cylinders in their front wheel drive platform. They never did. The GLC has a V6 as that is the rear drive platform.

@@gipsyavenger9829 Yes. The GLC is built on a version of the modular rear architecture which means its engines are longitudinally mounted and it is rear wheel drive biased. Like large luxury cars normally are. But Mercedes has been building front wheel drive cars for decades like the A Class and the GLB is based on their front wheel drive transverse engine architecture.

Why is the GLB being pitted against the BMW X1...The X1 is a subcompact SUV, while the GLB is a compact SUV...am i wrong?

Yes, you are wrong. Dimension-wise is very similar. GLC is the compact. MB has the GLA that competes against no one.

MB is targeting X1 and Q3 with the GLB, there's little doubt about it. Dimension-wise, it's about the same width as X1 but slightly longer, they even weigh about the same. X3 is bigger in every dimension and is much heavier.
