The band and the pins are chinsey. Sorry to say it, but I've lost many-a-watch to the pins popping off at work. Should I upgrade the pins and the band? Uhh, yea. So stay tuned for that video!

5 years of ocean, hot showers, car washing, pools, and hot tubs tell me that it’s tough. The band itself wears out after about 3-4 years of daily wear but the pins don’t pop out

True, but at 20 bucks I'd go for the AE1500 because it's a little more durable.

I’ve had mine for 6 months, definitely gets a lot of wrist time, and I work in construction/maintenance/landscaping. I love it, getting my CDL and will wear it while driving too. It fits me and my lifestyle, it’s durable, and the Miyota 2035 movement is accurate, and really reliable. I’d love to have a Rolex Submariner, Santos, and Speedy for the weekends, and a few homage watches here and there throughout the week. This MRW-200H will be my primary work, project, and field watch.

For 20 bucks you cannot find anything better for a tool Watch. Just wear it bit loose

  • @yambo59

I cant wear it loose, the band is too small on my 8"+ wrist and already on the last hole - a common problem with cheap import and many other watches - on top of that you cant just install a NATO band because the way the case is made its molded for the rubber band it comes with and the only way to fit a NATO is to buy adapters from the UK that cost twice what the watch does or file the crap out of the case which I dont want to do.

You haven’t worn this yet! Try it. The flexing in the band will help not pop the pins as you call them. It’s yet to happen to me. Wear it slightly looser. Offshore oil workers use these all the time in Scotland. Great review otherwise.

I changed the strap on mine straight away because it looked a bit lightweight. However I still probably spent less than $35 total and I wear it every day on the ranch, working with horses, fencing, swinging sledgehammers, cutting trees, I swim in the lake with the kids and it's still going strong. If it gives up one day I wouldn't hesitate getting another.

I work in a hospital, so for me being a guy who works in pjs and air-conditioning the biggest concern is waterproofing and occasional impacts. It's been the king! A major player in my rotation and my favorite analog. I also threw one on a nato strap with an f91w on the same strap riding the bottom to give me an alarm and stop watch on board. I would pay silly money to have the same exact watch with an alarm and light. I've looked at the g shock analogs but hate the numberless faces

Try buying a 18mm-22mm lug width adapter and a nato strap. I think it made it more solid plus it fits my 8inch wrist better. More room for movement too. Used it in the workshop alot of times and seems to hold on to me pretty well.

well the adapter i bought only cost around $2-$3 and as for the Nato 4$. Suprisingly theres Chinese Manufactured Adapters and natos that are great quality, the adapters are made from steel and has black coating on it, as for the nato strap i opt for the ribed ones and yes its in great quality. Sturdy, thick, and durable if you ask me. So i really think its a great upgrade and not going too overboard in the budget. @@JimKinkade
