Seeing as each monster has a specific role to play in the maw, Roger wouldn't kill a child as he is supposed to nurture them until they are ripe to be cooked by the chefs and served to the guests. The chefs' role is to cook the children while the guests' is to eat them, so they would of course kill Six on sight.

My personal theory for what happened to Roger when he was young: Roger was caught by the Thin Man (although we hear 5 minutes before the Monster Six's voice, time in the Signal Tower passes too fast / is broken), and entered the Signal Tower. Somehow Roger escaped / the Thin Man let him go after a while (we still don't know exactly what the Thin Man does to the children he kidnaps), and he met the Doctor. The Doctor let him grow a little, and did experiments on him, deliberately made him a defective mask, and very small legs, holding like that (metaphorically) 2 basic characteristics (short height + blindfold). After that, the Lady assumed him at the Maw as a Janitor, the Doctor let him leave the Hospital, and he went to the Maw. Another thing I believe without being sure, is that the room where the Spoon Girl was found after digging a huge hole, it was actually Roger's, who not only made cracks in the walls like her, but was the one who gave her the spoons to help her escape. This is where your theory that Roger does not really want to hurt the children, but help them, sticks well. Very interesting video, I agreed with almost everything you said, keep up the good work! 👍🖤

WOW! You are good at this. In the start-midle you told that we don't know what the Thin Man doing in the traped children. Well I think that he traps them there and he is waiting to be old and big to them go in the Maw and be useful there. And the Janitor with the Monster Six have some similarities (huge hands small legs and the most important, Janitor is blind and Monster Six is metafor blind ( adicted to the music box). But your theory is so clever and I think that your is more right than mine. Anyway nice theory 👍👍👍

This one is very interesting

As you may or may not know, in LN 2, there is a little "Easter Egg". In the viewers chapter, at some point, you can find a suitcase, and once you open it, you will find and envelope/mini package. Further from that point, there is a door, with a hole to slide letters, and if you have the mailman hat, you can deliver that letter through it. A pair of hands that are similar to the janitor's catch the letter. This may indicate he was in the Pale City, and that letter/package could perhaps be from the Maw, indicating he was hired (Ik he is blind but Braille exists), or maybe there was what he'd need to work on the Maw, such as keys etc.

I've always thought that the clock room also acts as a torture room by the Lady because the blind have enhanced hearing. Of course the loudness of the clocks would be very tough on the ear drums.

*My few theories in Little Nightmare:* 1. Six's room at the start of the game where she was trapped in by the hunter was the same room in the signal tower where she turned into Monster Six (Edited: Where Mono found Six). I suppose the girl she drew with her eyes scratched off in her first room was the same girl in her Monster Six room. 2. That girl Six drew was the raincoat girl! Not only that but the raincoat girl was the Lady's daughter. If you did not know, there were a lot of paintings of a girl (sometimes with the Lady herself) with long hair and with a yellow raincoat. Proof that she must be the Rain Coat Rain! RC girl must have tried fleeing the maw on a hot air balloon but crashed it on the nest. Her mother (the Lady) must have thought she died and so she had her daughter's eye scratched out in all her paintings. 3. Veronica in the Veronica song is the Lady. This song is to advertise to the guest to come to the maw and eat. I mean just listen to the lyrics! 'The halo assenting above our sea' is the maw and Veronica must be the host of it. Which is the Lady!

@@redbee8232 It could be a possibility but imo i dont think the hanging man is the thin man,, if you think about it, thin man is only able to leave the signal tower once mono opens the door right after he opens the door, he takes six and brings her back to the signal tower which is then where he takes off after mono to stop him from chasing after her as she turns but idk,, its all theories and the world of little nightmares will always have questions unanswered :]

Bro wtfff how did I not think of the last one- And YESSS I actually believe that the portrait girl is RC girl too. This isn't confirmed though, we need to accept that. Other candidates could be flashlight girl or even the Pretender! (Credits to a certain person who pointed out how tall the portrait girl was as she was aligned to the Lady in the portrait. Then again this could be an artistic mistake which is normally common in that era.)

I really liked your new video and I thought a lot about it, but theres one thing, that you have missed! Yes, when he catches you, he just carries you. I also think he just puts you in a cage. But there's this one scene in his workshop, that made me mumble. When he is taking the child out of the cage and wraps it up in this, like sack... The child doesn't move at all so i figured, that he/she would be dead... Also he basically KILLS all of the children when he stuffs them (alive or dead) into those bags/sacks because after they are hanged on a hook (at which they maybe even get impaled) they would suffocate to death. He can't see but if he didn't kill the children already he would definetly hear them struggling for air until they find the death of suffocation. Also when all the sacks/bags on the hooks find their way in the deployment-area in the kitchen, theres is not a single one moving the slightest bit! (Seems pretty ded to me y'know...) I think your theory, that he's a nice guy is quite interesting, but in my opinion I'm a 99% shure, that he definetly knows, what he's doing.

I was like "nah that can't be true." but then I remembered the pretender fell into the WATER and she could've very well adapted to it and turned into the granny over time. this theory gave me chills.

So, the pretender is the granny, the toddler is the janitor, Mono is the thin man, Six is the lady, the lollipop kid is the barber, the ponytail girl is the teacher, and the ghost kid is the hunter. Makes 100% sense

one thing that could suggest otherwise is the period of the time loop. (disclaimer: this going to get complicated and I'm probably overthinking it the dev's even said "no literal time loop is possible"). the age difference between the other children who supposedly turn into adult monsters is roughly the same. mono aged about 9 turns into thin man aged about 60, six aged 9 turns into lady aged about 60. However the granny looks far older than the thin man or lady while the pretender is the same age as mono & six so I think the pretender cannot be the granny as the time taken for six to become the lady < the time taken for the pretender to become the granny. could function with the fractured time theory.

The very likely reason he was gonna appear in the kitchen and guest area was because.. he’s a janitor. Those places are very dirty and have food everywhere.

YEEES FINALLY SOMEONE THINKS CHILDREN TURN INTO MONSTERS!

Another point worth noting is the suitcase you wake up in at the beginning of the game. Suitcases can’t be found anywhere else in the Little Nightmares universe but two places. One place being The Janitors room which has suitcases laying all over the place, and the other being the mail room you deliver the package in LN2. This being said I believe that The Janitor placed you in the area you start Little Nightmares 1 in, with the suitcase, and doesn’t want you exploring the Maw. Another thing that supports this theory is the hanging items in the same spawn area, almost at a height that could only be reached by Roger himself.

Suitcases are also what backs up the Little Nightmares 2 “Post Industrial” achievement being Roger (aka The Janitor). The package you deliver for this achievement must be retrieved from a suitcase.

I think the janitors arms can stretch like the teachers neck. Cause like when he pulls himself up to another floor, his arms seem to expand. But when they are at his side they look shorter.

One theory about the janitor I have is that his job requires him to be blind, so he was either blinded or chosen to work there because of his blindness. This ties into a theory I saw about how the lady is killing and using the pure/beautiful children to make others uglier to cover up her own ugliness. The janitor is the only one other than the lady who is sees any children other than six, and my thoughts are that he has to be blind so he can’t see how beautiful the children are as they are raised before they die. His blindness also might make it easier to stuff the children in cages and bags to be sent to the kitchen because it might be harder to feel sympathy for something you can’t see. Just some thoughts.

You do have some good evidence and stuff and I do agree myself with most of the information you have provided but your theory’s and questions are interesting as well.

If that’s true then who would be making the dolls? The Pretender died in Little nightmares dlc or comics, while falling after the Raincoat Girl, who fell in the room in LN2 where Six got the raincoat from. So if The Janitor is the shoe monster, then who is the Janitor? The Janitor likes dolls. But if he ain’t make the dolls...who made them?

I already put a comment here but did you know the janitor works with the chef you can see the kids being rapped up by the janitor and six has to hold on to one of the hooks leading her to the chefs and you can see some of the rapped up kids are on the hooks so if the kids are alive he puts them back to sleep and if they are dead he sends them to the chef and the chef gives them to the guests

For the doors, in the little nightmares tower there is a whole lot of doors that don’t have eyes on them. Theory maybe⁉️‼️🔥🔥😱

I agree wiyth you theory but personally I think the maw is acutally a safe place if you think about it Reason 1: The kids are provided with Food shelter a bed. Reason 2: When ever roger catches a kid he simply goes to the room Reason 3: The kids are personally not really moving they really look dead in the cages plus Roger is blind he could of accidently capture six thinking she is dead Reason 4: When you play the dlc depths whenever the granny grabs the kid she could of have been tryna get him to see him since she is all alone down there Reason 5: The lady doesnt Kill the children she simply just turn them in nomes she could be Turning them in nomes so they wont tell about her indenty plus she doesnt kill them Reason 6: In the little nightmares page or something its state that the maw is the only reasonable place Bonus reason:Roger could also be keeping the children away from the chefs or the chefs dont know the kids are dead so thats why they cook them

There’s only one problem with this theory, and that is that if six can stay on the top and walk threw the shoes than how does the janitor grab her and not be visible? Do you get what I mean? Like if he is on the same ground than bc he’s bigger he would be able to be seen

Personally I think that the shoe monster is a leech that eats the unwanted belongings but this theory is really cool :)

they may have made the janitor a good person in the finished game but earlier in the game development she would get ripped in half by who ever found her. the animations were cut because it was to graphic and to drop the rating down from and 18+ to 16+ game

I think cruches is six because six keeps wiping her nose and cruches has a bloody nose

Since I think Six and the lady is related my theory would be that the lady told Roger to keep an eye on Six so that she will not get killed by the guests or the chefs so he does not want to kill her in any way he just tries to keep her safe and why I believe this is because when Six first woke up after her nightmare she was in a suitcase it looked like someone (Roger) has put her there so the janitor is actually just friendly and does not want to harm her or any children.

My Eye's theory. In the game, many places have these eye symbols. The cause, unfortunately, is unknown. I will explain with my own ideas why this eye can be a symbol of an organization, Unity, institution, company, government or religion. The tower may be trying to improve humanity before making worldwide broadcasts. After a little thought about this theory, I said, "no way." These eyes, with blood and without care. Maybe people are afraid of these eyes or this organization. In the game, there are eyes that turn children to stone. They may have intended that the eyes provided order, and that they could instantly kill those who came out of order.

Hey the CM for little nightmares said Mono did have a crush on Six and I don’t know what a CM is for a game but I think it’s the Character Maker for the game you can look it up but it’s very clear and when a child has a crush they like them forever and will always have a soft spot for them trust me it’s approved by the game developers that Mono does have a crush on Six 😂❤
