I find this fascinating. As an Assistance Dog handler having a camera for our own personal safety has been weighing heavily on my mind for a while and GoPro felt so big and bulky I’ve been on the fence about it. Seeing the portability and the mounting options definitely sways my opinion over to the Go 3 for usability. The weight would be useful for either placing on our dogs collar, or keeping on one of my backpack straps (or the chest harness option.) The amount of off lead dogs we run into while working is a bit insane, as are abusive people (pointing out your differences and all that “fun” stuff) so from a safety stand point this sounds invaluable for people like me. Definitely gives me a lot to positively think about. Thank you for a great review. =)

I have a Go Pro 7 Black and thinking of upgrading. I do like this camera and it's size but the price is a bit OTT. I can get a Go Pro 12 for the same money if not cheaper but the latest Go Pro's are bigger than my 7 and that puts me off buying one. My choice is still the DJI Osmo Action 3 as it's cheaper than the slightly upgraded DJI Osmo Action 4.

You can buy insta360 go 3 for kids. They will have patience to charge it every 15 minutes after which it drains out.

Insta360 Go 2 and 3 are a joke. Even after firmware update its recording time is just 15 minutes which no vlogger mentions. Looks like Insta360 is spending a lot on them to create the hype 😅
