Young Clive jumps differently in dugeons than he does in town... He does a normal higher jump there. It's a short jump to limit some area access, at lest so that it makes sense in player's perspective.

Yeah i did not notice stuttering on framerate mode in the fight at the start of the demo. But i heard Bltzz say that the earlier version was 30 fps and when they played it it was already 60 fps capable. The release will have 60 fps for sure.

Something I noticed (not a ff fan, but 16 has just awakened something in me and now Im on this binge of ff content) but from you ff15 story explained said that ifrit and shiva were married, and in 16, clive is the dominant of ifrit and jill is the dominant of shiva. So that's a neat detail

Nooooo I thought Tyler and Wade looked a bit silly but I love the BOP!!! I liked the demo, can't wait for the full release but don't get me wrong there are nit-picky things I didn't love about it but I am willing to overlook as I believe FFXVI will be a smash hit.

So is Nökkvi = Wade and Pétur = Tyler? I kind of wish those two were Biggs and Wedge. A missed opportunity definitely! I loved the demo and yes some interesting choices with the start of the game. I would have just started at the campfire with Clive dropping some punchy lines and dropping straight to the flashback. The first Eikon fight wasn’t needed.

They are definitely Biggs and Wedge in spirit! I think a lot of people will make that connection, we certainly did. And yes, I'm (Nökkvi) Wade and Pétur is Tyler! Hope to see more of them. We were abnormally invested during that scene with Tyler...

I waited exactly until the demo was launched. It took me 5 hours to finish the whole demo plus the other part when you beat the lady in the castle. I just took my time looking and reading everything

I doubt we’ll be seeing more of Tyler and Wayde. I hope I’m wrong though.

Making accessibility the default and letting experienced players opt out seems like the more reasonable option.

The option to skip tutorials would definitely be welcome. Although they are only a minor nuisance.

Tho you said you loved the demo, it certainly didn't seem that way for 60% of the video

If you want some uggos in your game, play the new Fable when it comes out.

You must be tired after playing the excellent demo/opening.

I felt like, and they tend to do this in XIV as well, they draw way too much from GoT which I think is unnecesary. They are perfectly capable of making their own story. For instance, I found similarities in the Clive and mother figure dinamic (wasn't sure if that's his mother, probably not), Clive in the military, the messenger owl, Toglar, the weirdo kid with powers, etc. It all came to a point where I felt like damn, dial it down with the borrowing, people. I want this to be its own thing.
