Thanks for this. I'm from Cleveland, and the thought of winter auto repair makes my bones ache. I will use both this heater plus an old catalytic heater for my next few repair jobs.

They really are great

I've had mine about a month now to heat my shed. Works great although the feed does slow down when the line from the tank (and tank) freezes.

I agree. For the money I am really happy with it!

Looking to put in a 10x16 shed. Just to knock the chill out the air. My little desk top heater can keep up when hot but not heat from 30°. Would a buddy heater work or this bauer heater.

I also have a 9000btu radiant buddy heater. It’s nice when you are close to it. And that you don’t need an outlet. But the Bauer is on a whole other level. If you have a power outlet close by I would tell you to get the Bauer for the shed. It will heat my garage from 30 to 70 if I let it just run with the door cracked. With your smaller space just make sure you are getting fresh air. The Bauer will heat you up to the point you will want to shut it off.😬 it’s a good unit.

@tdtgarage1697 I was looking at the craftsman 60,000 but seems alot louder than this one. I been looking at the bauer 60,000 and dewalt 68,000.... just cause they seem to be the Quietest of the group...

You want to have good ventilation of clean fresh air. I leave a garage door partially open.

@@yessir1284 The space I have is like 35x20, and it does amazing. So if you have similar size. Then yes. I’m sure you will be more then happy with it considering the cost😬

Is there a propane heater that you don't need electricity? but one that looks like this one

Sorry for the late reply.. I’m sure you have it figured out by now. But from what I know there isn’t one that will have a fan like this. That’s what really pushes the heat out. But I also have a mr. heater propane heater, that one doesn’t use electricity but it is more of a space heater. Still works great but obviously doesn’t heat up the larger areas like this one.

Yes sir, they sure do, DeWalt and a few others take a drill battery and propane, easy peasy... A lot more expensive, but no electric outlet required...

The connect cable doesn’t even fit a standard propane tank

It'll fit the inside threads of any 20lb tank. I didn't know there were inside threads on tanks until I bought this
