That's why mine went bad I had the older version with the undetachable and then the cable got fucked up

I also have a Nintendo switch so I'm going to check out that video for that controller I don't have a PlayStation I'm good on that one

I actually pre-ordered the Ultimate 3-Mode Controller for the XBox. It's pretty much the Ultimate Bluetooth Controller, but made for the XBox. Weirdly, you have to use it wired on the XBox. Not sure if the wireless dongle will work on the XBox, but even if it doesn't it's still a cool controller to have... when it releases.

Hey let me know if it works wirelessly. I still like 10 ft away from my TV and Xbox kick back in the recliner, so a wire controller doesn't really work for me

@@deanmoriarty1519 Tried it yesterday. Unfortunately, the wireless adapter does not work on the XBox. I did however get it to work by connecting the wireless dongle to a Mayflash Magic-X adapter. The share button won't work if you do this, however.

Hello, thanks for the review. Just wondering if the "Impulse" Triggers are also called hall-effect? Upon checking their website it was stated "Hall-effect Impulse" triggers and on the box it's different. But anyway just ordered one too. Can't wait.

Hall effect is a magnetic trigger. Impulse is the type of rumble that is being used. They combine the two to make it sound fancy. That's all. It's the same type of rumble the standard Series controllers use.

two of my 8bitdo ultimate had a bad LB that didn't fully unpress. using pro 2 wired now and the snes style LB and RB are much better

Did you by chance discover any onboard audio settings?

Dude i just got this in for my wife yesterday after runnjng through 4 standard controllers up until this point we havent had any audio issues no when she has this controller plugged in her audio js great but its giving us oeopke in gane chat our own echoes and feedback. Any suggestions? Ive posted on all xbox forums on fb and eveb emailed manufacture. She also LOVES the controller but it make the party unplayable. Even if her mic is muted it does it.

Was going to get a kaelid game sir flux, but cancelled after seeing the green one of these. My biggest concern, are the triggers weighted and can feel the gun vibrations in the triggers themselves, like the dual sense 5 on ps5? Or do neither do that? I just love the simplicity and no back buttons under the controller. This looks laid back and relaxed, plus premium, for a lot less price than game sir. Game Sir looks cheaper for whatever reason to me.

So I've covered both and I own both. The feedback in the triggers are nothing like that in the PS5. They are similar to the feedback in the Series X/S controller. Both are really good controllers. You can't go wrong with either.

What is the length of the included usb C cable

How are the new improvements? They mentioned that they are using microswitch bumpers and dpad - how are they compared to the previous ultimate. Also on the web-site they mentioned improved grip and vibration, are there any differences?

After using it for just a day, I can say I can clearly feel a difference between this and the ultimate I compared it to. It's more responsive and the buttons feel more "snappy", if that makes sense. I didn't really notice much of a difference with the rumble, but I'll definitely pay closer attention. As for the grip, I have always liked how 8bitdo controllers felt and this one is just as good.

Very cool video! Is there any major differences between the new ultimate and the wireless version? Im deciding on which one to get and it seems like this controller has everything the wireless one has (besides the back buttons and.. it being wireless). Which one should I pick up? Im always in need of a second opinion so thanks!

The 3-Mode wireless controller is only wireless for PC and Android. It's still wired for Xbox. If you're looking to use it only on Xbox, I would suggest the C over the 3-Mode.

I like them both a lot. I've been using them both about the same amount of time so far and I think one is just as good as the other. If I had to pick one thing, I like the dpad better on the 8bitdo, but the 8bitdo is also cheaper.

Just picked up the grey one. I had my new Xbox Series S for about a year, and the left stick on the provided wireless controller is already broken (cleaned it, probably wear n tear or electric problem). Feels like a downgrade from the Xbox One controllers, mine are still trucking along after seven years of abuse. Hopefully the 8bitdo one lasts a long time

I agree with that about the Series controllers. They do feel like a downgrade from the One controllers. 8bitdo does make great controllers. I've been using the ones I got for my Switch for over four years now and they still run perfectly.

8BitDo controllers just feel lighter, slightly smaller thanks to the Switch Pro layout, but quality-wise is a HUGE step up from official controllers for hall effect sticks alone.

It's very different. This is a standard controller with now extra buttons. It's a solid, yet simple design. For the price, it's unbeatable and it has hall effect sticks and triggers. The extra lights are an awesome addition too.

Does anyone make a wireless Xbox series X controller with hall effect? Or is there a place I can send a controller in to get it done to

No. You have to buy the ones made for mobile. 8bitdo offers those as well.

I got one of those recently there was a piece of tape over the Tabby thing and there were two more pieces of tape on either side it had to cross the border to Canada border patrol chicks every package make sure it's what's in the box

there's also one feature that that you didn't show and I don't think the manual actually tells you about if you tap the star button not hold it it changes between the different light modes

The G7 SE is great. I'd put this slightly above it, because I prefer the 8bitdo dpad.
