The TX is ugly, the GX looks like a mini G-Wagon. Yes the TX is better for families, but the GX just looks so cool.

The GX is pathetically small. Adults sit uncomfortably in the second row, yes the second row. The GX is another financial trap, it will lure in the weak and extract much more fiat than it should

People need to justify the purchase and really want it to work as a family hauler but it just isn’t.

What is the actual cubic square footage of cargo space with the seats down?

What is it like for the person sitting in the middle in the second row? I have three teenage boys and they fight over the fact that there is nowhere to put their feet (if sitting in the middle) and it is not comfortable especially on long drives if the middle person has to put one foot in each of the side passengers footwells. Please explain if you agree or disagree. Thank you.

Im so disappointed that they dont offer a 3rd row on the Overtrail models. Deal breaker for our family.

@@fagiolo2376 they were fine in our 2004 and 2011 GXs. Our kids are still young, but we are a family of 6 so we must have a 3rd row and made it work. Since they made KDSS exclusive to the models with no 3rd row the entire GX550 line is a no go.

Land Rover has just made a LONGER Defender 130 just because they found a gap on the market for a serious 3 row offroader and Lexus do... this. Dissapointing.

The proportions on the 130 look weird in my opinion. The same thing on the grand Cherokee L, like this elongated rear section that looks like an after thought design wise. The TX as an example, was designed to be a 3rd row car, so the rear doors and rear sections are designed together to make the car longer, as apposed to just making the rear section longer.

Gx550 front is ugly - rest of the vehicle is good looking - just imho - they will do redesign on the front sooner rather than later - front looks like too angry and doesn’t fit the vehicle

You can’t really compare reliability of Lexus and Land Rover though.
