Is the 2024 Hyundai Sonata N-Line a BETTER sport sedan than a Toyota Camry TRD?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

FIRST DRIVE: The Sonata is getting some big changes for 2024 from Hyundai. On the outside of the N-Line you will discover a new front fascia, wheels and lighting. On the inside you will be greeted by (2) 12.3in screens, and sport seats. Under the hood is a 2.5L turbocharged inline-4 that produces 290HP & is mated to an 8-speed DCT. Is the 2024 Hyundai Sonata N-Line a BETTER sport sedan than a Toyota Camry TRD?

This design is awesome Joe. I really wish it got the rear vents from the Korean version, and a limited slip differential. With those this car would be unbeatable (for the price)

I love it how Hyundai and Kia keeps up with the new generation of trendy innovative designs. Also, the materials they use in the interior and exterior are very upscale. The only downsides are the lack of AC vents in the back and blind spot monitoring, and the regular brake calipers; it’s OK because my 2023 Sport Accord is very underwhelming overall, very.

Real nice car definitely, even the interior too. I currently have a 2023 SEL+ with the same exact seat material expect for the ‘N’ badging with 19 inch wheels, but kinda bummed out that SEL+ got discontinued. I wish Hyundai would have kept the SEL+ for those who don’t wanna spend the extra $$ on an N-Line, especially for those who don’t want cloth seats on a Sonata

The overseas N-Lines are better equipped than the US ones. They get features in an N-Line that you’ll only see in a Limited in the US, like rear vents, ventilated front seats, heads up display, 360 camera, turn signal cameras on the dash, and back seat/rear glass window shades. Korean models even have a dash cam available from the factory. Wish they’d spec them all like this.

I like the new look of this car a lot . I also like the refreshed k5 and the redesigned Camry Xse. I drive a lot for work so an awd hybrid option with all the bells and whistles would be better for me but I have a 2020 accord sport 2.0t and still like that get up and go when I want to have fun . It will be a hard decision and come down to deals and manufacture incentives I think . Luckily, I don’t need a car but if there’s the right deal out there for any of the three, I mentioned I may pull the trigger.

I love what they've done to the camry on the outside it's really sporty but when you get inside it's looked the same for about past 12 plus years with just small changes like a bigger screen.

Is there a safety mechanism built into the column shift? I would be always nervous that I would fumble my right hand and accidentally push 'Park ' whilst driving. And destroy the transmission. I think it's ridiculous to have a column shift then just above it the indicator stalk.
