@@RaitisRides , Great review and video. 👍 I'm buying the exact same Mustang GT but with the 301A package. Love the retro style 5 star wheels. I don't need leather or 20 inch wheels. These cars run great with a few bolt-ons.

Nobody on KZread does a better job reviewing and explaining the features on these late model Mustangs. Clear, Coherent, Intelligent, Enjoyable.

Adam Randell it is probably one of the nicest automatics I’ve been in.

We all know it but it's worth saying: a manual exists for those of us that want a deeper connection to the car. It makes the experience more personal. It's satisfying to release a bit of frustration throwing those shifts around. And with each passing year, it becomes more of a theft deterrent as the art of driving stick fades.

my best friend, bud moores son greg has one of these in premium and he lets me drive it a lot. in sport mode this car flys. have had it to 130 mph and its still pulling. fantastic car

Your absolutely right joe my wife and I have a 2018 gt preamum package and its a butt load of fun to drive she got the royal crimson color new for 2018,i was on the freeway coming back from cali I mean (mexico)hehe had the cruise set at 120 and it was as smooth as butter.

Hey great job as usual, didn’t realize you could get a GT that cheap. Cool that Ford gives you that option. Kinda like the early mustangs even though they made millions of them it’s hard to find two exactly alike. Automatic transmissions have come a long way. My auto FR-S will hold a gear to redline when you put your foot in it. Plus it has a manual mode and manuals just suck in traffic. I drive an 18 wheeler for a living and my 2018 Freightliner is auto , was dreading it at first , but it’s better and safer for a lot of reasons.

The steering wheel button only changes the steering feel between sport/normal/comfort. If you want to change the traction/stability control settings you have to press the stability control button twice quickly for sport mode and long press to turn traction/stability off. RTFM

NHseacoast it depends on the brand and how sticky they are but I would say around $650.

Your videos went a long way towards me purchasing a 2019 GT with performance pack 1 , 301A with Nav and the active exhaust. I got the manual due to the fact it isn't my daily driver. It's a road trip car for my wife and I. I got the grey and I love it.Ford says 12 weeks for delivery so it will show up here the first of May. Can't wait til summer.

It actually showed up on the 18th of April. I am very happy with it. I put new Niche Wheels, tinted the windows and wrapped the roof in black satin. It's a absolute riot to drive.

Now this 2018 Mustang GT 10-speed is terrific and your wife enjoys it

So I'm looking to buy my first car and was looking for advice. So far I was looking at hatchbacks and was planning on getting a sti. I was looking for something that would be fun, fast, and I thought four doors would be good as well. However I dont need four doors and after reading up and watching videos I'm realizing the hatchbacks dont have the most comfortable drive and I'm getting a little unsure. I currently dri e a 2007 hhr so anything's gonna be an upgrade and I'm looking for something close to 30k so any advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated 👍

Regarding your comment on cruise control buttons, Ford has been notorious for having the cruise control buttons on the wheel. On the other hand, GM puts the cruise control on one of the stalks, usually the cruise control is integrated with the turn signal on GM models.

Those are skinny tires for 460 hp! Thank God I have PP1, MagneRide & Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S on my 2018 manual GT convertible. Those wheels were optional on the 2015-17 V6...

I also have the 401A package with the digital dash and the Safe and Smart package with adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring and the Active Exhaust; it sounds glorious! Oh I forgot to mention the color, it is the new Royal Crimson red (metallic burgundy), the car is really gorgeous and a head turner!

It annoys me that my 2017 base Tacoma has twice the screen of the mustang gt (my truck doesn’t even have mirrors in the sun shades or cruise control). Ford kind of forces you to buy the premium.

I totally agree with you but the good news is on the new Mustangs it is n't like that anymore.

Couldn't be happier with my 2019 Mustang GT with the Performance Pack 1 and 401a package (12 speaker Bang and Olufsen with the built in sub and digital cluster). I purchased it in Magnetic Metallic- similar to this one. The looks I get from people are priceless. Its as if I was driving a new Aston Martin...….

I might get this GT Premium or the Dodge Charger Daytona. I will have to test drive them both.

I like Mustang , selling really well here in Australia . review is okay but too much the same about a version that's pretty standard ..with so many Mustang reviews out there it just needs to grab more ..but the reviewer does a good job .. just a little 'average' ..sorry ...

I'll keep a look out for it ..appreciate the heads up ..Mustang's are amazing , selling great RHD of course here in Australia since the Ford Falcon finished in 2016 after 56 continuous years . I own two beautiful Falcons , 2008 XR6 and a 2001 Futura and there is a direct link between Falcon and the awesome Mustang . . One day I'm very keen to own my first Mustang , apologies for boring comment , just similar and same type of review more accurate ..Now I've watched it all I also get where you were heading with this angle given this is on the "more affordable" range for the Stang ...Thanks ...Rod..

Mate, this was a good review. Please dont compare S550 Mustang with BF falcon or worst AU falcon. Other than the blue oval brand there is absolutely no relation with the Mustang.
