Same here😔 Last october, I got t-bone in my 2020 honda civic sport coupe goin through a light at 50 mph after the person didn’t yield. Still dealing with the pains in my back and neck. I ended up pickin up a 2017 Mustang GT Premium PP1 with the 6sp. It will all pan out. Trust God💯

I absolutely love my 10spd. Kind of a necessity for me. I’ve had seven knee surgeries. 4 on the left and 3 on the right. I sold my 09 GT500 and then bought my 19 PP1. Don’t get me wrong I definitely miss the 500 but my 19 is a great car. Puts a smile on my face every time I drive it

Hope you're doing well these days. Especially with your knees. If you don't mind me asking, what career messed up your knees to need that many surgeries? Not joking. My mom and brother in law had to have surgery on theirs as well recently.

I have an 18 GT FBO 10 speed. My favorite thing about the trans is that the power feels like it just doesn’t stop. Especially in the sport+ mode.

Currently have a 19 10 speed. Tuned for e85, full borla exhaust and some good tires is all I got and I just love it. Average of 12 mpg but who cares, worth it. The way they just scoot in a 40 roll is amazing

I have a 40 minute drive to work everyday and in my 2020 Mustang GT with the MT82 I love every minute of it. This car is such a blast to drive. Still waiting to get the exhaust done, and once I do, I fear my wife will never be able to get me out of it!! Love the build so far bro!

Gotta agree, love my 2020 GT/CS. Took it on a 400mile road trip yesterday and today. I had so much freaking fun. Head snapper for sure and of course folks wanted to play on I-75… and we did; we won’t disclose speeds here 🤣 leave that for discord. Gotta say my favorite part is the responsiveness of the 10 speed and being able to switch back and forth between casual driving mode or let’s have some fun mode. Such a fun f’kn car to own. I've had 97 GT auto (horrible auto), 04 GT manual loved it, 16 manual loved it but traded in for my current 21 GT auto. I test drove the 21 GT auto while my 16 GT was in the shop because of that damn AC issue twice. I was amazed by how well the auto shifts, just blown away. They gave me great trade in price and that was that. I do love how it down shifts while coming to a stop in sport/track mode because almost never have to hit the brake because of the engine braking. All in all not a poor choice at all. Corsa catbacks, black on black PP1, sex on wheels. I would like headers/tune but still worried about warranty but maybe next year I will jump into what you have and smile some more.

my thing is, I would prefer the Mt-82 just because I wouldn't be driving it to beat every fast car I see and run it at the track every weekend. but driving it to love it and embrace the history and just cruise around.

10 speed is good but when you use the paddle shifters sometimes there’s a major delay this transmission shines when you put it in S mode on a gearshift which is sport I believe and then you just punch it about 60 roll thing moves

I have only owned a 10 speed but I’ve driven a few mt82 cars. The manual is definitely fun, but 10 speed is just as good really. I don’t think you could go wrong either way. These platforms are just fun.

you sold me man i was so stuck on getting a mustang but wanted a 6 speed since i had a 2011 mustang automatic. I went to look at a manual and they wanted a little to much for it was able to get a white one with electronic package and i will be able to select drive modes thats what i wanted but the sad part is i will have cloth seats 😭excited to join the s550s i have always loved mustangs especially the GTs

Makes me so happy I traded in my 2011 v6 6speed for my dream car the 2013 mustang gt (not a Shelby but that’s the year car I wanted in a 6speed) my new 5.0 is fucking leaps and bounds of my old car. So happy with the cyote it sounds so aggressive and all the pops and bangs. Love the videos dude.

I'm 22 in December, currently have a 2015 Camaro V6 fully loaded, straight piped. I love it, I'm extremely grateful for it being my first car (that I'm paying for) BUT my goal is to grind my way to a 18'-22' GT 10-speed. Muffler delete and X-pipe. Man.. soon. Almost at 200K bro... proud of you. Been following for about 4 years. Lets get it.

Yeah old guy here so we used to have a saying back in the day actually more than one but one of them was you can’t out shift an automatic transmission you could take a car that has less horsepower and torque and smoke a much higher horsepower car with an automatic transmission alone because it slams into the next gear and launches your forward while the other guys winding down the motor and grabbing the next gear even if it’s a half a second shift you’re gonna lose. my buddy had a three speed automatic hemi Cuda and of course you know what that was all about there was nothing in the entire city that could beat it and it was much faster than everything else the only thing that even came close to keeping up with a charger with an automatic transmission lol But the coda was king try and purchase one now it can be done if you’ve got half 1 million. and if you’re wondering if the mustang boss 302 could take the hemi Cuda, he had my tail lights memorized😂 The barracuda what is the most like any modern super car when you smash the throttle or even got halfway into That dual carburetor hemi your passengers would be Panicking and it pulled very hard and it would easily do 130 in a quarter mile. you had to drive it until it hit third gear and you were about 80 miles an hour before the wheels would hook up hard from there it would pour on speed

I’m curious if you’ve ever tried slingshotting since you have an automatic transmission? A lot of people don’t know what that is these days but it was common back in our day, what it was if you’re cruising along it’s a 60 miles an hour now we didn’t have 10 speeds usually had a four or five speed at the most but you would put your foot all the way in the throttle and then drop down to gears with the shifter in your case of paddle shifter without lifting your foot and then let the transmission shift back up through the gears but you should be able to pick up 50 mph in a matter of a bout two seconds, give it a try. since you have a 10 speed you’ll probably have to drop from like seven to 4th but it will make a great video lol hold on! You’ll be blown away at how much speed you gain when you slingshot the transmission where this came from was usually if you were tooling along and a guy came up to your side to challenge you in a race he was already ready because he knew he wanted to drag race you then he would beat you out of the hole on a rolling race because we didn’t wait around for everybody to say go lol you just looked over, And would catch a middle finger and you had about a second and a half to grab gears and smash the throttle that’s how racing in our day happened it was great fun.

I just don't get how people who love driving could wanna switch to an auto even a 10 speed. I've experienced them and they keep pulling because they got a million gears and very aggressive gearing. That isn't because it's auto just because it has aggressive gearing. I just can't do it I thoroughly enjoy the art of driving a manual and I am very very good at it. Wouldn't have it any other way. The 10 speed is for people who wanna do it the easy way without having to have any skill.

@@midnight347 I can left foot brake and blend left foot braking into a heel and toe while being very aggressive around a track. I love it, it's fun when I am absolutely going for it. But I don't do that with my car on public roads these days. I still love driving a manual, and will probably have a cheap toy car with a manual as well, but after going on a long road trip with the 10 speed I really appreciated being more relaxed while touring. I've dailied high performance manuals for 20 years and while I can basically rev match, heel toe, left foot brake blend in my sleep, I also have a high end simulator rig to get my fix as well. The experience with the 10 speed is about enjoying other things and being relaxed. I still have the skill, but I have nothing to prove to anyone out on public roads and it's nice to chill when you cruise around and the 10 speed works so damn well.

Put some under glow on it nice simple white would accent that all black car perfectly. Plus underglow is coming back to the scene

They like the 10 speed because it does all the work for them and everyone can be fast it's kind of like everyone gets a trophy don't gotta earn it by actually learning to drive.

If you had a 2021 blacked out antimatter blue GT .... what style and color Wheeles would you consider going with .... calibers are factory painted grey .... ?? Its basically like the car Jakes buddy had bought ... But I'd like your twist on it ,, if you will

ANY Mustang is awesome! that said, I love my 6 speed 2018 GT. I learned to drive on a Manual and every car I have ever owned was a Manual. I want to roll my own gears. I don't care about not being as fast off the line as an Automatic. Every time I raced an Automatic Scat or Camaro SS, they beat me off the line, but I beat them to the Finish Line. I'm rolling with 500 hp, so my ride isn't a slouch. I don't track her. If I want a track day, I have access to a Ferrari 488 for that. 😁

Mustangs in every configuration have been great cars for a long time. I had a 2012, 305 hp V6 Mustang. It handled like a dream. It was reasonably quick and got really good highway mileage. In some ways I regret trading it to my son for his 2013 Dodge Charger R/T which has also bern a great car. But, I miss the nimble handling and low slung feel of my Mustang. I'm strongly considering a GT Mustang convertible for my next car. My co-worker has a fairly new Mustang GT with suspension problems that eats up tires quickly. He's taken it to different shops and it still not right which concerns me. Maybe he bought a lemon. I told him to take it to a race shop that specializes in precision tuning suspensions for the track and maybe they can sort it out.

10 speed is super fun! Plus it’s perfect if you live somewhere with a bunch of traffic!

2022 Mustang MACH 1 with handling package, 10 sp auto Wisdom on going down in wheel and tire size to: Size: 275/40ZR19 Size: 255/40ZR19 ? Continental DWS06 tire? Also, I’ve seen where some people go with the same size, wheels, and tires, front and rear. What are the pluses and minuses of doing that? For street vs the massive Handling package: 305/30R19 315/30R20 (rear) CUP 2 tire. I’m thinking this larger size wheels and gummy tires will be throwing rocks all over my car. And also the CUP 2 tires would wear out super fast. I figure smaller wheel, larger sidewall equals less tram lining and obviously protection for the wheels suspension, the whole car. Also better fuel economy. For a car with this much horsepower and weight should I go to anything smaller than the 40 series that comes stock without the Handling package? Also, what do you know about wheels? What is a high-quality durable light wheel that I should buy for these smaller tires? Thank you.
