Is That A New Log Splitter In The Woodyard? #96

Ойын-сауық

I bought an Eastonmade 12-22 off Facebook marketplace just to run on Hard Working Man. The Eastonmade 12-22 was on the shortlist of splitters I was looking at when I purchased my new log splitter. I decided to go with the Allwood muscle would log splitter instead. I got an opportunity to purchase this Eastonmade wood splitter and thought what a great opportunity to show it compared head to head with the All Wood on my channel so I picked it up. I will run the Eastern made and the Allwood and in the end I will sell which one I choose not to keep.

HWM and HWW. Nice find not to far from you. Whe. I was looking no one had any used splitters for sale back in 2020. I couldn't find any to demo close. That is great that Rachel said ok. I think my girlfriend is like your wife. She knows i am busy with my day job, cutting trees after harvest is over, helping my dad out, and doing firewood. So she said anything to make your firewood hobby business easier she is all for it. I been looking for a used conveyor now. Great video! Definitely would like to see them run side by side. Great teamwork you two!

No comparison needed ((i.m.o.) They both have proven track recorded. Keep' em both. Unless selling one would mean building a splitting shed with a concrete floor ,to split in during inclement weather. I am guessing that two of you on the 12-22 will be pretty much the same productivity as both of you working both machines.

12-22 is a good splitter if you doing a lot of production and your splitting cords of wood per hour 12-22 is the way to go, If your doing bundle wood or boiler wood and your working on your own, and you split a-lot big pieces diameter Wood 24 to 35 inches the axis is the way to go, the difference s between the 2 machines 12-22 has a 4 way 6 way box wedge, and they leave a lot trash after splitting, it recycles faster the the axis, The Axis produces better wood then the 12-22 you can turn turn a 24 inch piece of wood and cut it to the sizes you want for bundle wood, it gets through the nasty crutches on the vertical splitter, what are your thoughts,

  • @hardworkingmanoutdoors

I am buying a 12/22 new and I am considering picking it up to save on the $1300 delivery cost. How was it crossing the border, do you have to pay a duty tax, show Covid vaccination card, assume passport is adequate? Also can you share how much you paid for the Eastonmade? I ordered mine when Andrew gave notice of a price increase. I figured I am saving $1500 over the new price so if I don’t like it or decide it is too much splitter for me I can sell it and lose very little but not sure how strong the used market is. I imagine with someone wanting an eastonmade if I sold mine it would sell quick since many people don’t want wait over one year to get it.
