    Hi Derek - it's Big Rodders in Ireland. A very impressive machine with great knife speed. However, I would prefer a longer knife to more effectively split the larger rounds even if the that resukted in reduced speed.

    Great little machine. I’m shocked how fast it is. Like other commenters, I think a foot pedal would be safer- you can free up both hands to keep the block where it’s supposed to be. I like it! Jeff

    New Sub! Looking into getting the electric version this fall. How do you like the hand operated control? Would it be better with a foot pedal?

    Subscribed!! Very interested in this machine!! Thanks for sharing! How tall is the working table? I deal with a lot of really big tree service wood. I wonder how it would do with a really big round! (40" red oak). Probably would have to remove that guard on the front.

    @@FirewoodInTheField Thanks! The table is 32" high. They also have the option for a side shelf (to the right) If I ever got a 40" round, I'd just bust it down with my skid loader mounted splitter (home made)

    Great machine! They should get moving on the foot pedal. Looks more dangerous with the hand lever and only one hand on the wood.

    Pretty sure they are going with a "knee" operates lever instead of a foot pedal. Inside info from someone getting one for review and testing purposes.

    Doesn't look like it has enough power to lift or process anything over 12- 15 in.

    @@dereksstuff8395be careful with lifting larger rounds. That splitter only weighs 450 lbs.

    Don't put you hand on top of the round that is being split you could lose your hand or some fingers for sure.
