I am using Motul 5100 10W-30 Semi synthetic grade engine oil in Bajaj Boxer. And man o man the change in performance I really appreciate when I used it. The changes I noticed when I upgrade from mineral oil to semi synthetic grade are Less heating and better heat management, improved average, better throttle response, increase in average by 5-10 kmpl, smooth engine at higher speed (70kmph) running without stress at 70kmph And improved power delivery. All these things happen in my case. 😃😃😃. Thank you brother and other KZreadr.

Dude, you used quite an expensive oil for the 100cc engine. I also have a bajaj platina old model 2008 in my village with the same boxer 4 speed gearbox engine. It is used for field work. I will surely use this 5100 oil next time. They fill whatever cheap oil mechanic tell them

I’m using Motul 7100 10w50 Fully synthetic oil in my Gixxer 155 BS4. And the engine is super smooth. Also on high speed the engine sound is super smooth.

Fully Synthetic oil for 125cc scooter not available on amazon except castrol... We use scooter for bulk carriage most of the time ..hence we required fully synthetic oil plus proper gear oil ..but not available in market

I saw a company sticker on old well maintained splendor. It says use 10w30SJ oil topped up on every service at 2000kms and to be changed every 6000kms. Which means no oil change till 6000kms only top up the oil level and service the bike on every 2000kms.

I hav unicorn160(2016). i tried Motul10w40 (₹700) last time and the difference was phenomenal 👌👌👌. it increases engine smoothness; pickup was increased like helllllll...... it has been almost 6 months since then and the bike needs no maintenance till now.👍👍👍

True ,mechanics won't let us use synthetic oils ,it increases the oil change time to 2x ,3x . Example :- with mineral we should change oil in 1k but with synthetic oil it needs 4-6k km with each interval

​@@ravitejathestranger5587wrong, if you use synthetic in air cooled motorcycle which cause problem in engine. Minerals oil change interval 2000-3000 km. No mechanic tells you to change at 1000km. Real reason why mechanic don't sujjest synthetic is that, it evaporats quickly due to high heat, unlike mineral oils which has flash point of 240 degree celcius, all synthesized oils have 200 degree celcius, except shell brand 220 degree. Synthetic oils runs smoothly even with 500ml oil so the rider will never get notice the oil level unless oil glass is there. Ut will let to engine seize. Learn completely before blaming mechanics for not suggesting synthetic.

a 10w30 synthetic oil will be much thinner than a 10w30 mineral oil but will provide much more lubrication because of even sized molecules, using Thinner oil means less fraction on piston ,there fore more mileage and more pickup.Only draw back is oil level drop

@@sunilkc5803 bhai 20w40 me heating issue to nahi hoga kyuki yeh oil 10w30 se zada Gada(heavy) hota ha but heavy Oil pump krne me engine ka zada power lagega Jiski wajah se bike ka pickup or mileage kam ho jayega,Isliye tum 10w30 synthetic use kia kro, Synthetic oil bhot zada garmi jhel skta ha,100 km takk chlane ke bad adha ghanta ka rest dena bus, mileage or power bhi achi milegi 👍 engine bhi safe rahega,Ha agar tumhare pass koi 150cc ya usay upr ki bike ha jaise pulsar fz r15 to usne 10w40/20w40 use kr skte hai

Against the regular, suggested 10w30 oil for my 2015 batch BS4 Honda Shine 125 bike, I started using Motul's 5100, 10w40 Semi-synthetic engine oil and I saw much better results. My riding is in the range of 1000- 1300 kms a month and this 10w40 semi-synthetic engine oil has proven to be a boon for my more than normal agrresive driving and also in bumper to bumper city trafic of Mumbai. Vibrations of the engine have also come down significantly. Value for money indeed.

@@manish2362 improvement in mileage. Engine gets heat up quickly compared to fully synthetic oil but it isn’t an issue in winters. Gets good pickup in the low gears and low speed( I guess due to better friction in the engine) fully synthetic lessen the friction of engine.

The most important thing is changing your oil, on time. If you stick to this principle, mineral/semi-synthetic/full synthetic oils won't matter as much in low displacement motorbikes. Although if your budget is not an issue, Full Synthetic is the way to go.

Yes but different intervals for different oils: MIneral- 2500- 3000 km semi synth- 4000 - 5000 km full synth- 6000-7000 km

I have TVs Jupiter bs6...I always use Castrol fully synthetic oil and change after 6500 km . Very good performance of scooter..
