You are- half correct. At the end of that special involving him it was revealed that Jinwoo had sent him here many many times before to test how he has grown to use his powers for the sole purpose of figuring out if he is strong enough to be allowed to have access to them in the real world. This explains his speed in levelling up and doing things because even if his memory was altered each time to not remember everything that happened was real, theres still that muscle memory. While Jinwoos som is strong I think he just missed the mark to being allowed to know the truth in that special, but it still goes to show how strong his son is, even if he likely wont ever reach his fathers level.

Jinwoo's soldiers were going easy on suho, hopefully this is one of the rare manwhas were suho doesnt become stronger than his dad, jinwoo literally cant die.

It's canon, but.. it's wrong that SJW's son can defeat easily two highest rank of his shadow, first, high rank shadow never fight his son in full power, it's proved when beru about to fight SJW's son, he instead choosing retreat and surrender because he didn't want to hurt his young master. Second, it's because SJW itself that give his son a +40 all stats, if his son didn't have the +40 all stats, he isn't different from normal human, just like his mother

The shadow monarch has essentially no limits and is basically a god of death. The longer it exists the stronger it gets. The power the shadow monarch has is older and more powerful than the absolute being, and is only called a monarch because the previous one chose to be, not because of how it was made. Even if su ho's power is also infinitely growable, the fact that they are infinite means they will essentially just be on equal terms

Actually didnt beat instantly, in the novel (Solo Leveling Ragnarok) and in the epilogue (Solo Leveling Side Story) it was said that jinwoo made his son fight till he can reach jinwoo in his sleep (therefore making one of the requirements of suho being a player) also kept restarting from the start if he died in his sleep.
