You can probably touch your toes today after you do this. But don’t force it, breathe and relax Unlock Your Hamstrings! [The Secret to Stretching] kzread.info/dash/bejne/d4SJz5mchqu1frA.html

Excellent! I particularly like that you stressed _soft_ movement and linking movement from one area through the body in gradual progression. Thanks😊

This is great. Added benefit of clearing a campsite by convincing people around you that you're a lunatic! ;)

NIce tips. I'm getting up there in age. I learned this year I need to do mobility exercises everyday or else I'm going downhill. Been doing a lot of mobility exercises for the hips, ankles, and shoulders. After a hike I've been massaging my feet & pressure points in my legs while lying in the tent or hammock. Not too much stretching anymore.

Great, many thanks 🙏🏻 I enjoy your videos even though I don’t do hiking but I do run and I’m interested in barefoot shoes and breathing. I find your videos just generally interesting so thank you and keep it up. I’ve shared this video with my ballet dancing girlfriend too 🩰

You mentioned most people not using breathing correctly, but didn't explain how it should be used!

This is so simple, but so amazing! I’m game for any mobility stretch or exercise so I tried this before and then after my normal stretching routine. Shaved 30secs off my pace running! Just felt so much “looser.” Can’t wait to use this backpacking when I always find an excuse to avoid stretching on the ground.

I followed along in the living room as you described the movements. lots of cracking and pulling. mostly good, but my knees arent happy with me right now. I think i should try this every day for a few and see how it goes.

Hello Chase, do you know any exercise specific for the stiffness of the vastus lateralis muscle? After hiking I sometimes experience rigidity on the external/back part of both thighs. I am not very trained I started hiking recently, maybe I went too hard at it. Do you have any experience of that and what can be done about it? Thanks from Italy!

I'm 8 weeks out from a long Himalaya trek and I'm looking for a program to accelerate my prep. I'm confused by the different options on your web site and I suspect I need assistance from a trainer. Can you help?

I've never felt that stretches before or after a hike have ever helped at all. I think stretching is a myth.. Is there any actual research that proves its effectiveness? In fact, the only time I've tried stretching (I did it for about a month), I ended up not being able to hike for 6 months due to a strained hip flexor muscle.

I think many people have had that experience. And I guess the important thing there is you learned something right? Anything you learn for yourself and your body outweighs any research that exists
