Erica Marie, I'm not able to scroll on Insta or FB.I get so triggered.The other thing I noticed is where am I emotionally plays a big part. I had to take a step back & revise my business. I'm relaunching my Business June 1. You're right about our creativity getting stunted by comparing ourselves to others. I so needed to hear your podcast today! It’s so hard sometimes, I’m glad you resonated with todays podcast episode! ❤️

I get inspired by the posts of others’ successes, however I try to keep in mind not to let myself get overwhelmed. Even watching your videos, sometimes I will go back and watch older ones to see just how far you have come! I also keep in mind that a lot of these things don’t have a “correct” way to do it, and some things I will just have to learn for myself to grow. It is much easier of course with your videos as a guide! Appreciated as always! 😊

I think difficulties with comparison comes from seeing resources as limited. If it goes to you ,then it’s being taken from me. Whether it is a job, position on a team, parental attention etc…. We need to reframe it but it takes a lot of intentional effort to undue our cultural programming!

This is so true! I made a podcast episode a little over a year ago about limiting beliefs! There is so much to go around, we don’t even realize how insanely big the world is and the possibilities we have!

I needed to hear this today. I'm launching my candle business this summer, and I have found so much inspiration for business on social media, but lately, it has made me feel really vulnerable and hypercritical. Thanks for the reminder Erica Marie!

I see it others growth more as a positive, I’m human yes I’ve said many times “when will it happen for me “? But that seemed to give me more motivation to move forward, at my pace on my budget but nonetheless keep moving forward. I think if we didn’t have those feelings of ( why not me )? Then we wouldn’t have the drive to move forward, as long as we’re not dwelling on it , I look at my candles from 4 yrs ago and cringe 😅, but I was so proud, it’s taken me a couple times to make up my mind on what if any kind of vessel I was going for if I just wanted to be all over the place and offer 12 different colors of vessels 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 yes I’ve done this ,but I was sure that the candle was good & safe no matter what I chose to pour it in, I think it’s different for everyone, but more than anything I love seeing others succeed. Thank you for this video I truly believe it is a very important topic 😊

I love this video! I watch other small businesses and get inspired and it motivates me but all discourages me. I am a very small business making it paycheck to paycheck. I love what I make and believe in my products. But seeing others and their success it seems it is more because of social media. I don't have social media so I have been doing things the old school way. Going business to business. Doing vendor markets. I enjoyed your video and thank you for this topic

When I see others succeeding is a motivation for me, I know my time will come. Yes I’ve said “oh I can’t wait until I get to that point” but never “why not me”. ✨

I think it does a little of both for me and inspires me and discourages me only because I’m just starting now there’s a little fear there. I’m still learning how to make my candles and I don’t wanna fail.

Is this pouring funnel a baking funnel or is it just for candle wax?
