Great info. I'm in The Bahamas and i order from Candle Science & Amazon and getting my supplies shipped the cost is crazy. But i'm finding ways to get things done much cheaper so i can give my customers the best price possible.

What about labor cost? Overhead? Super important to include those in COGS to truly understand the all-in costs to make a finished candle 💯

Absolutely!! I usually do (COGS x 4) + (10-20%) to account for additional costs! They was more of just a look into the actual material costs but I totally should have mentioned that in the video!

If it helps, we buy by the pallet and don’t have to pay for shipping because the manufacturer of the wax is so close to us 😅

@@MemoryBoxCandleCo It does help! haha I've heard manufacturers won't sell to non-supply companies. Do you just have a good manufacturer or do you think because of your proximity they were willing to sell a pallet? I'm also in Canada...so add on that $$ 😂
