First of all - Thank you, Timo! The yawning technique how you explained it was an absolute eye- and throat-opener for me! Exactly what I needed to focus on to avoid pulling up my chest voice too much and losing my low range during long singing sessions! Now about singing while sick - I know it's a bit controversial and to stay on the safe side I totally agree with you it's best to completely recover first before singing again, especially when you're a beginner. But in my personal experience singing with a (light) cold was quite interesting and taught me how to be a lot more mindful and avoid using too much air pressure. It can be fascinating when suddenly you can reach many low notes effortlessly and shift to head voice sooner without sounding thin because of thicker (swollen) vocal cords. I know a teacher should not advise doing this but for experienced singers that are trained and cautious enough I would dare to say it can be quite interesting and beneficial when you don't overdo it. Thanks again and see you in the next one! 😊👍

You are welcome! I'm so happy to hear that my videos could help you to make some positive changes and that they helped you to open up your throat. As you said I would not recommend to sing when you are sick. But sometimes, when we are forced to do less, it can teach us a great lesson and show us that we don't have to do as much as we think. Thanks for sharing your experience with us and see you in the next video. 😀
