I’ve ridden through some crazy downpours, so you definitely can ride in the rain. It’s kinda sketchy, but if you’re controlled and riding slower, it can definitely be done. I have a full size truck with about 50k miles on it, but 95% of the time, I’m taking my bike. It’s a 2 banger z650, but it’s a blast. Occasionally I’ll take a zx14r or a gsxr750, but the z650 is perfect for around the city.

I just got a bike but something small since it’s my first one (only125cc) but so far I’m super happy with it

FXDLS BROOKLYN lives in NYC obv haha, but he rides year round pretty much, but he also rides a Harley so it’s easier to get more wind protection, I’m from VA and have a 2022 low rider s, def gonna be able to ride that even in the winter since I can make it more windproof , it was a struggle on my z400 last winter lol

I’m a bit late but I’m in NY I ride and post videos there is quite a few vloggers from NY … be safe out there

How exactly do you park as a motorcycle in NYC, meaning do you follow the same parking rules and signage as a car or?

Yes follow traffic laws but to physically park u want ur tail backed into the curb not parrarel to cars, also I like to park the bike in gear to prevent rolling

@RickyMoto so basically you park in the front or back of another car, but horizontal with the rear tire touching the curb? Do u turn your front wheel? Do you share a spot with a car or take your own full spot?

If it’s an actual parking spot u go right in middle and park it within that space. If it’s street parking I park in between 2 cars with tail touching curb, front facing street, turn handle bar all the way left and lock steering column using key

Im from queens. Im about to take my MSF in two weeks. I enjoyed the POV and everything you talked about riding in the city. Im looking for an used r3 to start first but like you said the prices is crazy here since not a lot of riders here. Anyway, will follow you on your ig and maybe we will ride around the city!

Oh and yeah an mt-07 is considered a beginner bike to a lot of people nowadays, and the way you ride you’d def get bored of the mt-07 a lot faster than usual

Ahh I’m juggling between the mt07, r7, and r6. If I could afford 2 bikes I’d get a mt07 for cruising and r6 if I’m tryna be nuts aha. But only can have 1 bike at a time for now

In the city the bike scene is basically mostly stunt riding like dudes beating up liter bikes and doing stupid shit. Long Island Suffolk county got a decent community tho
