Coming from a car guy who just lost his local track (Palm Beach International Raceway) and watching these dudes on insta for a while- WE NEED OUR RACETRACKS BACK. My cousin chose to drive like this several years ago. He thought he was the best driver in the world and could handle anything that came his way. I had a friend that drives like that, and would always think that he is better than everyone. One day he went to have fun with 2 other friends, he crashed the owners car who was 22 and in the passenger seat, the 22 year old died. The other guy that was sitting in the back got into a 6 month coma, and years of recuperation not being able to walk and talk. He, the driver, just had a minor shoulder injury. So yeah thats how this ends.

Absolutely how this ends. I know people who used to drive like this and never on main roads 20 years ago. A friend of a friend was seriously injured. Others I know died being ejected from the vehicle. I'm 2 years almost into recovering from a tree falling on the Jeep I was driving, not speeding or anything. Just a freak accident but had I not responded and hit the gas I would be dead. Being a knowledgeable and well trained driver who can operate under stress is important but these dudes are dangerous. We have motorcycles, dirt bikes and cars who drive like this in Philly and I've seen a few guys nearly hit my vehicles, death wobble braking to stop and plenty of serious wrecks. You're spot on. I know drivers typically walk away but passengers, or innocent driver's hit don't. Even if you're lucky enough to survive that recovery can be years or a lifetime of pain. I have a close friend who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. A lady on her phone pulled out in front of him. His entire left leg is rods, pins and screws, plate in his head, and he needed to learn to walk again. We both joke every time it's going to rain we get out of chairs like 80 year old men. Lol. But seriously those injuries are for life on many cases. Learn to drive and be a good evasive driver but don't do sht like this on streets. Race on closed roads or tracks. I'm not opposed to guys racing on closed streets but too many guys do this stuff and it's a 1000th of a second for things to go wrong and at 120+ mph when they go wrong, they go VERY wrong.

Secondly if your honest about that my hats off for you, it takes some realization to say I’m not doing that because it’s more dangourus to chase this person than to make sure I catch him, instead let me stay back go the same direction and hope I don’t find a car wreck. There is a time to be a police officer and I time to say there is more harm then good. To recognize that means you’re more aware.

They'd still do it. They claim to be well aware of the consequences, and do it anyway. They admit it that it's not worth it, but still do it. And for what? the one dude said he did it to avoid tickets cuz he couldn't afford them. If you believe his story about being singled out even though keeping up with traffic, yea, sure, it's unfortunate. Don't drive that car as much, or buy a new one that might not get singled out so much. Much better alternative than to just start running from cops. Because it's gonna cost a lot more when they need to pay legal fees, and forced to pay for another person's injuries/death. There is no excuse for driving like that. Not all areas have a track either. And I bet some of those places have less trouble with these kinds of drivers.

This is totally deep and a great piece.

This is my first introduction to your channel and I'm beyond glad I chose to watch this video. It was actually very surprising to me that these young men making the decisions to drive like this are totally prepared for whatever consequences may come their way. The part where squeeze said "please do not come out here and try this" took me back quite a bit. I was really not expecting him to be as thoughtful and mindful as he was. Still a ridiculously dangerous thing to do and if I could convince these guys to stop I would but at the very least I hope and pray that no harm befalls them or any person on the roads around them
@Long-legged

You are confused friend. This guy doesn't not know if he's prepared for the consequences. He is not mindful. He does not care about your well being, or anybody else's. He should go to prison for a very very long time. Since he's not going to stop until he's disabled/dead or in prison. I hope he gets caught sooner than later and stays in prison until he's dead. In reality, this will not happen, because we have a broken legal system

He's a loser just like the rest of them. He was more honest than "swim team" which sounds so lame to me but all I heard was a buncha excuses from the team. Also that guy said you shouldn't go to jail for life over a murder with a car yet ITS MURDER WITH A CAR. Deserve life. These people don't care about anything but content and once these kids get their hands on cars they're gonna try to outdo each other. People are gonna die and they're ruining car culture forever. Straight up

It’s not true though, the study suggest 25 because that was the age cap of the study. It’s a flawed study and is misquoted all the time. Shame, as I like this content usually.
@Grootabs
Ай бұрын
@@daytonars5603 I mean while it might not specifically be 25 the majority of people’s pre frontal cortex is developed at that age. If it’s not by 25 it’s not far after. Either way it does establish why young adults are more likely to make these decisions. And it does provide a unique viewing experience

i really admire your progression. i remember when i first started watching you, i think 3-4 years ago...i immediately recognized your positive demeanor, insightful ideas, and motivation to share your platform with other people and give them the time and space to share their story. with every upload, no matter how hard the subject matter may be.... you tommy are picking the fruit of seeds you planted those 3-4 years ago. i assume you killed your ego long ago, but i hope you give yourself time and space to acknowledge and give praise to yourself. and then it's on to the next. with love, - brady

Why someone would ever vote blue will always remain a mystery to me 🙄 But observing this self-imploding behavior makes up for quite some entertaining content 😏
@kyokokirigiri100
27 күн бұрын
voting red or blue barely matters in the long run, and even so, a lot of red states are full of meth and losers and low literacy rates just as bad as the crime in blue cities. furthermore, the "blue states" ideology is the same as ones that work in the cleanest and smartest and most successful countries in the world (netherlands, germany, austria, switzerland, scandinavian countries, finland, east asian countries) so the problem isn't the "blue" political system, it's the people like you who pick a side and constantly can't stop bringing up the other one, and it's american culture. selfish, individualism, closed mindedness, spite, nosey. suggest you get a passport and go to some countries that you would consider "socialist" or "blue", you might be shocked at what it's like to live in a clean walkable place.

I have to watch this twice now , thanks Mabu!!!!! Where is Diddy when you need him???
Funny thing is, the police can't find this crazy race car driver, but Tommy was able to find him and talk to him.
Amazing reporting !!! Love the channel. Thank you to the KZread algorithm for bringing this to me. Keep it up brother 👊.
it's good to hear that those guys are ready to accept responsibility. The question I would have loved to hear though: If you had to chose between blowing into a person, or crashing into a barrier/tree, would you take the latter? Because it is one thing to accept the consequences of your actions, but it's a different thing to chose worse consequences for someone else's sake.
@BigFarmerFed
16 күн бұрын
Whether they’re taking responsibility or not they’re still doing it. In a squeeze Benz video when he was racing, one of his mates crashed into the side of a car where the passenger seat was. There’s not much context to what happened after but imagine a kid was in the passenger seat with his mother driving. No matter how skilled you are at driving other people are shit drivers and you’ll end up killing someone.I have much more respect for people who drive like this on motorbikes because at least if you crash into someone it’s you that’s dying. I know someone who was driving probably around 40 - 50mph over the speed limit down some road and killed a little girl and got sent to 5 years in prison.
I know that this comment will go mostly unseen, but two things: 1 The police do not chase as it puts them and other people at risk. It's a part of their training to not chase, especially if it is a much faster car that they are trying to pull over. For example, a standard Dodge Charger police edition tops out at about 350 hp, whereas the Lamborghini Urus that Benz was driving has about 650 hp. The police stand no chance, so it's not worth it. 2 This guy should try his fast driving skills in Dubai, as the police are much better equipped for high-speed chases. Let's see how far he gets there.
The young man sitting next to his parents when you were interviewing peeps was probably thinking that's how he drives his/ mum dad's car just like that !! didn't say much did he🤣🤣🤣
This video is very well done, mad respect Tommy
Love your content bro and for me, this was one of the best video you posted. Simply because I could related to these guys at least to some small degree. I ain't on some police chase thing or swerving through the traffic, but absolutely love the adrenaline rush from high speeds on highways or side roads, where it's possible, or just taking those corners smooth af... on those moments, every issue, every bullshit stuff that I might have on mind goes out of the window and I'm in my 120% focus mode, which is hella relaxing and peaceful. Buying my own first car was the best decision I've ever made.
Who else is here again because of lil mabu scamming Tommy
says youre not gonna get in the car with them but its you in their front seat during the intro
This one ! Love Tommy cause he actually goes out his way to really interview people in reality
