Pierre Gasly began his career at Alpine in 2023 with serious ambitions, and had huge belief in what he could achieve at Enstone.
But, one year on, and Gasly’s dream has been torn to shreds - amid an all-at-sea Alpine, with an ongoing brain drain, including aero boss Dirk de Beer, and technical director Matt Harman who were out this year, following a failed new car. Watch the video, and tell us what you think in the comments…

Should have stayed at Torro Visa Tauri. No, he has no other options unless he gets very lucky.

alpine need to do what Williams failed to do every time. Run a split strategy with wildly different plans and especially when there are safety cars etc.

F1 is no longer about racing. It has become the Real Housewives of F1. Too much off track drama and not enough on track.

Until a team can actually overtake Red Bull, what real on track action are we going to see. Last couple of races, same teams in relatively same order, same podiums with very little shuffle....this is literally why off track BS is taking over, because there isn't enough on track going on.

He should take some time off like Fernando did and try some other series, WEC, the IRL in the U.S then maybe a decent slot will open up for him in a couple years for him to make a return. Sad to see though, he's a talented driver.

Maybe it's just me, but the way Pierre combs the front of his hair kinda makes it look like he's starting to go bald and is doing that combover thing.

Damn. F1 is the only sport where regardless of talent, you can screwed your career up by signing for the wrong team at the wrong time. It happens in other sports, but it's temporary. Here, you get kicked to the curb.

The World Endurance Championship is where the Men and Iron Dames have gone to race! There you will find Kubica, Kobayashi, Schumacher, Button, Bourdais, de Vries, Kobayashi, Buemi, di Resta, Kvyat, Vandoorne, Sato, and lots of other great drivers. Far better action on track!!! Far cooler sounding and looking cars!!! Fingers crossed we see Vettel on track soon too!

Sad to see Apline letting the entire company down. All the execs left... Car is crap... in turn devaluing the drivers' potential and making them look like crap.... They're literally making HAAS look like a championship winning team.

It's obviously just me....but If Gasly is struggling with seat options for 2025, what does F1 see in Ocon....seriously? It's drivers like this blocking young F2 talent from getting a chance really

OCON and GASLY much better than younger drivers, logan Sargent was killing it in F2, but he got fucked by Alex in Williams, same with nyck de vries. Everyone is getting an orgasm from Bearman's P7, but they don't understand that he was literally in the 2nd fastest car

I'll bet that investment group of stars from America that bought 24% stake in Alpine last year are kicking themselves right now watching this team absolutely come apart at the seems. They have lost so much technical talent investors are going to steer well clear and come 2026 things are likely to look dire for them. It might the perfect doorway for Andretti to get in but they would have to somehow get rid of Alpine altogether and buy the other investors out as they will not want anyone interfering with decisions or engine choices.

Does anyone even rate Gasly? He's better than 2/5 of the grid in my opinion. He's not better than Ocon, in fact he is getting destroyed by him this year The best for him I can see is getting a seat at Aston Martin if Alonso retire but there'll always be other drivers ahead of him. He will retire after leaving Alpine
