Is Paros Europe's Best Island? | Travel Tips for Paros | Discover the Greek Island
In July of 2020 the Greek island of Paros was voted ‘Europe’s best island’. Every year, the travel magazine Travel + Leisure releases its World’s Best Awards, based on a survey that includes responses from thousands of experienced travelers. This year Paros was voted best island in Europe once again. But with 6,000 islands in Greece alone, what makes this island the best one in Europe? DW reporter Meike Krüger traveled to Paros to find out.

Greetings from Paros! Many thanks for this beautiful presentation of our island
Being from another land, however having visited Greece several times previously,I dream about reliving these scenes and this lifestyle every day..warm climate for most of the year, food quality amongst the world’s best, lovely beaches, hospitable locals, free and democratic society, plenty of sights and history ..does it get any better than this?
Wow this place is driving me nuts. The beauty of the place and the people. I liked that old craftsman. His smile is very comforting.

This is an amazing video, I’ve been going to Paros for like 5 years now, this vacation I’ll do skuba diving and the surfing u showed, there is also a skydive site there, and an amazing hike in monastiry beach, thanks for the video🙏🏼

@@briantravelman Lol true. It is not your typical beauty like say the Azores or some other exotic place. But there is a certain vibe and charm that makes the Greek islands very appealing.

No way! It's not even the best island in Greece. And it doesn't matter if it has one thing no other island has if it's missing 10 others. Nothing against the place, but to call it the "best island in Europe" is just silly. But then again, I guess it depends what you like
