Exactly! Scrolling through the comments I was kind of surprised to not see anyone point out that smartphones didn't exist when Andy was a kid, so this must be adult Andy. I was thinking he could have become a writer after university and wrote this.

Dude imagine if the end credits scene is Andy sitting back from a computer or drawing table and sighing, 'there, finally done!' And it turns out Onwards was made by him

That’s actually a pretty good idea! The magic has to come from somewhere, correct? These seemingly magical occurrences in the Pixar Universe have to draw their magic from someplace, and what better place then a realm of pure magic? I believe as more magic is used on the behalf of our world, the more the magical world becomes like ours.

I thought the Cars franchise debunked it already. There's absolutely no way that particular universe fits with the rest unless it's a series of films the Toy Story chars would watch or it's all in the imagination of one of the existing characters.

This single theory proves the Pixar theory can never be broken. Every new world and story that Pixar creates can be dismissed as being in someone imagination

It's just Andy's imagination in college playing dnd. Which explains why the technology is a bit more advance In this movie than toy story 1 and its fantasy theme compared to to his other imagination for western or sci fi. He grew sound by the same things other nerds grew up with. Would it be so hard to believe that Andy creative imagination led him to dnd. The movie plot even sounds like a dnd campaign.

oh dude you solved it. what you wanna bet at the end of onward it will show a scene of a college-aged andy sitting behind a DM screen

Barley could actually represent Andy, while Ian is Molly. Molly would also have to cope with not having a dad. And Barley's van would represent Andy's play style, molding things together, using water guns as actual guns, and bringing different concepts together. So maybe Onward is inside Molly's head as she thinks about how Andy helped her growing up without a dad.

So what I'm hearing is that Andy would make a great DM

When I was younger my little sister and I would too "take characters of all walks of life and spin them to one cohesive tale," but our stories weren't "There it is. That makes sense." We'd actually create different dimensions for it to make sense. 😂 I am not saying we are Andy and our toys come to life, I am just saying that such statement gave me nostalgia.

I definitely see the two characters being Andy and maybe a brother he always wanted but never had. The lack of a brother and father figure could drive a child to be more drawn to objects where he could create a world of his own

I knew you guys would find a way to fit this relatively into the theory. Also that opening thing about being brothers and how far you've come. I've been here since almost the very beginning, and I love seeing where you guys are now. Great job guys.

Isn't it obvious who the richest man in the Pixar universe is, unless your meaning before the events of the Incredibles, which is probably 1972 sience the begining takes place in 1947, it's the CEO of BNL

BnL probz or Syndrome, I think SCB made a video about Syndrome being rich. I forgo or The Devons. Maybe Edna? Is Big Hero 6 Pixar? I would've said Fred but I don't think so. Me watching SCB for years, became smarter but questions intelligence and me messing up all of my childhood movies and forgets some details: WAAAAHHHH...

This just shows that nothing can break the Pixar Theory.

Or, the imagination we are seeing is molly, Andy's younger sister who often played with Andy (seen in toy story 1)

I think this is one of the few Pixar-verse Theories that I can actually agree with

Andy has a moon carved into his bed and that then creates this theory, Love the SuperCarlinBrothers for taking something so small and connecting it to The Pixar Theory

One week from questioning how it fits in, and you already have an answer. You guys work so hard and so quickly.

What about the movie being called onward? Buzz is a space ranger. He travels onward through space. to infinity and beyond is kind of another way to say let's keep going onward.

What if its an animated movie that andy made, after credits scene: ppl congratulating andy for his film

Maybe Onward is a book Andy wrote as an adult. Edit; The characters in Onward are much older and the technology is more advanced that it would be when Andy was young.

I did think that's a problem and why lots of people have commented it's something he wrote either as an adult or at college as when he was growing up smartphones didn't exist as I believe he was born 90's!

That would mean Andy's got Tom Holland's voice in his imagination!!

What if this is actually Andy’s developed imagination of when he’s older, which is why we see modern day infrastructure. And like we see in coco how his grandmother almost forgot her father until her grandson helps the rest of the family. It’s Andy’s mind trying to remember any memory of his father. What do y’all think ?

Also also, actually actually... when the word "ANDY" is repeatedly said.. it sounds like IAN.

What if Andi sometimes thought to him self I wonder what it would be like to have an older brother

I feel like Onward is being made as a commentary on our own world and how humans have affected it.

I don’t think it does because I’m pretty sure Ralph breaks the internet is a Disney movie so it would have no effect on the Pixar theory

The channel actually started as a way for the two of them to speak to each other in a creative way

I like to think that the movie would end with Andy as a grown up making this movie at Pixar

Ehh...I like the Wall-E starliner explanation better. We'll see, though, once the movie comes out :]

I love this theory so much, and have missed your videos like this, that are about interesting specific Pixar theories, instead of just trailer analyses, Easter eggs, and the larger overarching "Pixar Theory." Not that those are bad topics or videos, but I love creative concepts like this! And I am all about praising Andy's incredible imagination!

For once, an animated character who wears earphones properly 😂😂😂😂😂
