Last time i check, repel dispel was bugged and doesn’t remove repel, is it fixed now?

It's unreal how omni got powercrept. First Echo sabre introduction and +50 base damage talent. Then he got his hammer spell which used to be a slow aura, then phylectary got in, bkb completely reworked and status resistance indirectly buffed. Now he is borderline op, capable of 2k pure dmg burst with just harpoon and his talents. Wish some heroes I play would get the same love.

@@harklandmusic what do you mean? I tested it with different level and itembuilds. I failed it ones in pub because I pressed the spells in the wrong order. You must have shard and sable. And smth about lvl 14 at least. You can check. The main point is you need to understand that under the repel you don’t get any damage of tormentor

I've been experimenting on different builds actually. I've tried soul ring + phase boots / arcane boots + wind lace. I think I prefer the latter part because soul ring is so much expensive and I think people doesn't realize that Omni needs a lot of mana especially when using 2 charges of ur ulti in team fights.

If you needed to use 2x guardian angel then they are physical heavy so you need armor unless you plan on just using GA on yourself

Same, i play him mid since like a year or 2 now. people often call you out for it, but if you get a good head start and get your Q and E maxed up, have an echosabre/harpoon and your shard by minute 14 you absolutely shred lol. Add sange and yasha or a heart with it [ especially pre heart nerf ] and you are all roles as a mid : damage of safelane, tankiness offlane and can gank like mid lane. Later on I used to buy Skadi for the stats and damage and it really makes you a beast. I havent tried the phylactery build yet, but the echosabre/harpoon build with shard also made you do insane burst damage lol. you do need to make sure you have good xp/networth early on, as coming back can be a bit hard because he doesnt farm that well. yes his q clears waves, but doesnt farm ancients particulary well.

I think repel can only be dispelled by hard dispels, not basic

Repel can only be dispelled by debuff immunity piercing offensive dispel (Doom, Demonic Purge) There's no such thing as offensive hard dispels

Speeed , omni knight repel is written displable but is not. Go test it in the demo mode with nullifier and eul just test and reply.

What do you do in late game ? All this oneshot gaming heroes are a 100% lose in my book. Lost over 400MMR this last week. It's fun but it does not work (at least not in legend bracket).

i spammed omni before he got this popular. omni's a midgame hero, which means you need to demolish the enemy by minute 35. if youre unable to end the game by late game stages, its you and your team's fault. although he's not entirely unplayable at this stage. you just go backline, keep buffing and saving your enemy carry with your kits, and wait for an opportunity to blow up enemy supports.

It does not dispell althgough it might seem like that but in fact its just a debuff immunity fe: frostbite does not pierce bkb so it does not pierce repel but overgrowth pierces it so there is no point in using it afterward cause it wont dispell and you will remain rooted

@@shylo6477 no, they way repel work is like this, fe: CM Frostbite you , you'll be rooted and recieve dps and you repell yourself would in result releasing you from the root but still recieve the dps. A dispelling skill is one like oracle's fortune ends.

repel just gives regen and extra str based on how many debuffs you already had on you, it doesn't actually dispel them

Can we please get an accurate account of what Repel is good against and what it fails against? I'm so confused.

At level 15 it's not duration, it's the amount.

This build felt so good but I've lost every game I've played .... why am I so bad / what am I doing wrong

It doesn't dispel, but it makes the spell better for that, since they get bonus STR and regen based on how many debuffs they have on them (idk if spells that pierce debuff immunity count tho).

This is a mid omni build. Not an offlane, it might work but this build is better for omni mid.

offlane omni is quite similar with mid. you just buy phase boots first, echo and shard and buy harpoon. then the rest is up to you,

@@diowinardmedrano398 Repel gives debuff immunity (DI) but, unlike bkb, is dispellable; so, shadow demon ult and doom ult can dispel repel because they pierce debuff immunity, but they can't dispel bkb because bkb is undispellable.
