I liked the 2014 sound better. But I like a muddier tone for my playing style. They both sound great though!

No new camera just yet but I just got an actual keylight!

If you want an Epiphone Les Paul with Gibson Headstock, look for a JDM LPC-80. They did make them in Alpine white but they are a little hard to find. Someone has a nice one near me but want $1600 for it.

I do plan on getting a made in japan les paul one day, but I may for something like edwards or burny over epiphone

The newer one definitely has a brighter sound, whereas the 2014 is muddier.

I could hear that at times too, which is crazy because I always thought the pickups in the 2014 were particularly more bright and snappy than your average probucker

So ya getting the new 2024 Lp custom Epiohone with the open book headstock now that they announced it today?

You can swap the ‘butter bean’ tuner buttons with Keystones. I did that on my black ‘23 LPC.

I have a 16 silverburst. Build quality is as good as any 24. I'm not a fan of the probuckers but they're easily swapped
