Fired 650. Those rounds last weekend, one failure to fire no jams. Mark 4 hunter. Semi auto pistol. Great gun.

Long story short...i shot the few bricks of old auto match after buying a bunch of these new ones at walmart,the old boxes were awsome and accurate...i then cracked into this new auto match a few days later and it was nothing but headaches in the same guns that worked flawless before..tippman m4-22, ruger mark 4, ruger sr22...i now only use them in my bolt actions.

I have not really had too many issues with any 22 bulk ammo. I take it for what it is. For me any ammo that's mass produced will never match my reloads. Even my plinking rounds are done with great care. Your rifle is awesome and I enjoy your speaking to me is so calming and relaxing. You do a great job sir. God bless and take care

I don't have any issue with any generation of Federal Automatch. It's great ammo, just as it's always been. I prefer it over CCI, in fact. I'm glad you like it as well. The only thing I can say is some rifles will prefer one over the other. Meaning I have some rifles that like the old stuff better than the new stuff, and vise versa. Those guys that say the new stuff is worse, or does not shoot as well, may only have 1 rifle???? I always make note, of which rifle likes which ammo best. Thanks for your videos!!!

I run a lot of 22lrs and the new stuff is less consistent than the older stuff. My new to buy bulk is the Aguila HP in the 500 rd box

I just opened a 325 box of Automatch that I bought last summer (Summer 2021). I just finished off a 500 box of Win M-22 . The M-22's were really bad. Maybe I just got a bad run but I probably had 8 or 10 duds, and maybe 30%-40% were audibly weak loads that would land 5"-6" (or more!) low at 100 yrds and the occasional super load that would impact 2"-3" high on the target. Very inconsistent. So far the Automatch (bought around the same time) are what I would expect from bulk ammo.

Another upstate n.y. shooter here I shoot auto match in my colt woodsman I have new and old auto match I haven't found a difference

Dang it Nibs! That's just my excuse for poor marksmanship, I blame it on the Automatch (no matter what I'm shooting). Just kidding. I felt like I was getting some inconsistency the other day but it was more likely me. That is a beautiful rifle. I love the wells for the cartridges in the fore end. What a great idea!

Automatch shoot great in my mark 4 hunter.

Your Mauser KKW looks very similar to my MAS 45 which I believe is based on the same rifle

I always forget!

I think the auto match is fine but I have heard some people say the White Box Federal Super X has some issues…. And I did buy a box of the yellow Box Federal Super X power point and I have to say it is poor Quality ammo pretty much all the bullets are extremely loose in the casings …. The cheap Armscore 22 ammo is has way better Quality than the Federal power point by a long shot .

Super X is made by Winchester, not Federal.

I watched to the end, hoping to see enough evidence from your range test to address the issue raised in the title, namely, comparing new production Federal AutoMatch to old. You never did show your rifle firing any of the old stock, and for most of the video it seemed like only 6 rounds of the new stuff were going to be fired. Of course, at the end, you did fire (albeit off camera) another 30-some odd rounds of the new AutoMatch. Personally I would have liked to see the Federal to Federal matchup, as opposed to comparing to the Aguila and other brands. No matter. Your results showed that the new stuff in your estimation is as good as the old stuff, and that's good enough for me. I just found the AutoMatch at Walmart last week for $21.16 per 325-round bulk box. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, so I was very interested in your range test of it. Thanks.

Nice video, but in terms of ....is "new" Federal Auto Match worse than "old" Auto Match...., a same gun, same conditions, same session, one against the other, would probably be more meaningful. Nice video though.

Good thing you were not shooting an auto loader, the stuff is junk. It won't function in an AUTO! Anything will work in a bolt action.

Federal Automatch was made for semi autos. You have some crappy guns, don't blame it on the ammo.

No wrong again running bear! I have some very nice 22 pistols & rifles. Lots of people have had issues with auto match. Pull yer head out & you might learn something.@@lmbear
