See how the crosshairs basically cover & conceal the red bulls-eye, I always use a larger than usual bull so I can center the crosshairs in it and have plenty left to see. Doing so has helped shrink my typical group size about 40%!

Really depends on lot numbers with the Federal automatch in 2022 at least. I bought 5 or so boxes last year and literally I don't think there was a single malfunction so I decided to buy another 15,000 rds of it over the last couple months its extremely hit or miss now some boxes (at least half) turn even the most reliable semi auto into a single shot at best, very disappointing Federal!! Very interesting. I have shot the same three ammo selections from two of my Ruger 10/22s and a Marlin 925 bolt action and have had the same results. The aquila ammo was superb. I started off with the federal match using it to zero the scope and it shot so bad I thought there was something wrong with the rifle/scope combo but it did the same on all three rifles. Tried using CCI and not that much better. My grandson gave me about 200rounds of aquilla and wow, what a difference. Best of all it was far cheaper than the CCI or federal. I also have a Browning Buckmark pistol and it shoots really well with the aquilla. No FTE or FTF either.

Great video. I've done some accuracy testing at 50-100 yards with several of my rifles and had similar results with CCI (both mini-mags, velocitors, and segmented). Surprisingly poor accuracy compared to some less expensive bulk packs I tried at the same time. Automatch did better for me also than the CCI's, but the Aguila Super Extras and Browning 36gr HPs did best. Seen mentioned that the Brownings and Aguila both have significant crimps which can help with accuracy out of some rifles.

I’d like to see how the 0030 CCI 40gr/1235fps compared to the Aguila
CCI SV has always been the best as far as CCI goes for me, even better when sorted. I shoot only CCI SV and Aguila SV as far as cheap 22 ammo goes. As a rule of thumb tho from my experiences anything SV is always more consistent than HV when it comes to .22lr and always it depends on what that gun likes. All 22lr firearms are super picky and like what they like as far as ammo. I have rifles that shoot cci SV great and I have rifles that stink with it. I have rifles that shoot lights out with Lapua Center x and others that dont.
In my gunclub we have shot Aguila and cci 40gr lead roundnose, and we cant tell the difference (15 m pistol 22lr)
Now try it in my Wildcat and the Federal group looks like the Aguila group here.

@Moondog Industries Savage Mk 2 22LR Heavy Barrel. To be honest I couldn't believe that any rifle could be so accurate. I can hit that red dot in the middle of target little piece by little till I destroy it completely that you can't see it. Amazing .22 rifle worth every penny I paid for it. And I'm talking about target shooting from 50 to 75 meters.
I've revisited your excellent video just now, as I've been doing extensive ammo testing with these and other brands of ammo from my almost stock 10/22 with BX trigger. I noticed that you are using a Lead Sled. Does the Sled make a big difference in accuracy vs. a conventional bench rest? Do you recommend the SLed for ammo testing? Also, I get much smaller group sizes with CCI 36 gr than with the CCI MM 40 gr round nose. Oddly, I do better with the Aguila 40 gr round nose than the Aguila 38 gr HP. Go figure.

I one-piece probably is more repeatable than a 2 piece but ultimately it's rendered moot for me at 50yrds because the bench I'm on is not as stable as a concrete bench. The COPPER plating leaves absolutely NO lead build-up in my 8 shot Smith and Wesson 22LR revolver barrel rifling. EVERY other manufacture's ammo I have tried has left lead inside the barrel that was extremely hard for me to remove. NOT so with this Aguila 22LR ammo. In addition, I have shot thousands of rounds and maybe 1 failure to fire and that is it - one failure. On sale it cost .04 cents a round so I wait for that price and then I buy in bulk. águila mexicana srs.
Every gun likes different ammo . Find the one that works best in your gun ! Then stick with it !
The federal Automath that you used is not a equal level product to the CCI mini mags and aguila super extras , for christs sake the automatch comes in bulk packs where they are all just thrown in lose , not to mention it's also the cheapest lowest level of copper plated .22lr ammo that federal sells. If you want to do an actual real comparison that is fair all around you should absolutely be using either of the 4 different available weights of the federal Game Shok line of CP .22lr ammo , they make 31, 36 and 38 grain all theee being copper plated hollow points as well as a 40 grain copper plated round nose the are phenomenon ammunition in every single aspect and after shooting many many thousands of Federal Game Shok and CCI Mini Mags of various weights I've concluded withiut a doubt that the Federal Game shock in some areas is just equal but actually to a small extent actually better performing than even the Mini Mags, and hell they are a little cheaper too, you can get a 500 round brick (10 individually packaged 50 packs each in nice little organizer trays) pf any of the Game Shoks for on average $40-45 roughly where as the CCI given dont offer anything larger in quantity than a 300 pack of the mini mags whoch is mearly just 3 separate 100 round plastic trays of Mini mags packed inside of a super thin and flimsy cardboard box or package , the same 100 packs that you will regularly see much of the CCI ammo packaged and sold individually in, so ya get 200 rounds less but considerably more expensive than the federals with the 300 packs of CCI's selling for on average $35-39 , I dunno about you but given on all levels not only are the Federal Mini Mags not just equally as good as the CCI mini mags but as I said they are actually even a little bit better in some aspects so overall in my eyes simply a superior product compared to the overpriced CCI's. However do not get me wrong I buy the CCI mini mags pretty regularly , usually the 36 grain CPHP's , and love them as they are a phenomenal product that is nothing short of the line , however the Federal Game Shoks are simply a hair better in a couple areas based on my
