Thanks for this video. I recently got a Creatista Plus and am loving it. I didn't realize that if I wanted to do a double shot, I could just turn the switch in the 'recipe' back to the add coffee setting (rather than going to the plain espresso setting). Great Information!

Wow, I’ve never even looked at this machine because it seemed overwhelming. But you made it look easy! I’ve been looking at the citiz platinum and a recipe maker.

Greta video! What is the temperature of the coffee/espresso that comes out? I prefer my espresso quite hot and can’t seem to find much info on it.

I’ve had my creatista for over a year now and I still love it! I’m definitely a latte girl though. Someday I want to get a fancy Jura, but with 2 kids (ages 2.5 and 1) I love the ease of this machine. Would love to see more videos on it! I didn’t know there was something you had to do daily to clean the steam wand. My husband bought it as a push gift before I had my son and set it up for me (aka he probably tossed the manuals and didn’t read the directions😅)

Hi Alex! Love all of your content. Did you know that there is a handy steam wand cleaning tool stored underneath the water tank of the Creatista Plus? I missed that feature in the Owner’s Manual, but found out about in another KZread video. Very cool.

Yes! I didn’t mention it because I figured once you need to clean it the machine tells you where it’s at but it’s such a handy little tool!

Thank you so much for this review. I wanted this machine because it's SO PRETTY. (I loooooove the white color.) But 99.9 percent of what we drink is cold coffees, so I really appreciated your info. If there's no benefit for us iced coffee drinkers, then I just saved $649. Ha!

I have the Pro and for the most part I am satisfied with it. I am a push a button and be done kind of person. I would love to have manual coffee options but for whatever reason I just can’t do them correctly. I am sure it is user error. I was the same with getting past the no cold foam option. I do use my Pro for a lot of iced options. I usually just use my hand held for cold foam.

Hi Alex! Loved this review! I bought my Creatista back in 2018 and got in on sale from Nespresso for $400 (still a lot of money). I loved it, until I bought my Nespresso Vertuo Plus this Christmas (i have the same one as yours). I still use my creatista because I can’t somehow part ways with it.. BUT if I’ve bought the VertuoPlus first I don’t think I would’ve bought the Creatista.

What about the milk steaming function, don't miss that? I promised fiance an espresso machine for Christmas and am now 4 months late trying to figure out how to do Nespresso pods and also a steaming wand without $700+ >_

I have this machine in sea salt too and I love it. I’m a latte girl so it was my best investment of 2021 😌

How are you planning on grinding your beans? I own it and LOVE it. It just made a year and I can’t stop praising it. But I just caved and bought the matching Breville grinder pro…I was using an inexpensive blade one and it doesn’t cut it. So now will use the real deal. Can’t wait, mine comes Friday. Hope you love your Bambino Plus as much as I do!

I would’ve bought this if I knew it was so much upkeep. I use nursery water and it still gives me issues. My husband bought mine for Christmas and I really don’t like it but he loves the lattes I make for him so I kept it. I’ve been using the Amazon brand espresso capsules and it makes way more crema. I still prefer the pour coffee I do. I do wish I would’ve bought a manual espresso machine instead. This is good for convenience but not for the price!

I made the mistake of getting a limited edition gloss black veurto next... only lasted a year. I'm looking to get the breville bambino plus or this. I'm all about coffee quality over variety. So I'm leaning towards the bambino plus

Great informative video . I have been using citiz and aerrocino 4 since a year and having no problem at all, but i am just loving creatista pro , i live in uk so do you think getting pro would be a good choice over plus as i have have heard that milk texture and temprature is better on plus than bro but pro has some extra features plus big touch screen, help me decide pls 🙈

Hello Alex Cool videos. I have a question about the Sage Creatista Plus. Right now I'm using a De'Longhi Citiz & Milk. It makes really good foam. But would like to buy a Creatista Plus. With the Creatista Plus it has yes a steam nozzle. I could not test the machine anywhere, unfortunately. Could you maybe make a video where you can see the differences of the 8 milk foam textures? That would help incredibly with the purchase decision. Looking forward to your feedback. best regards 🙂😅

The foam you get from creatista is not the same foam from the aeroccino. I would still keep my aeroccino, also the creatista doesn’t cold froth like the aeroccino. Hope that helps!

I bought this machine about three weeks ago. I find that the coffee is weak. I also find that the milk temperature is not as hot as when I first got the machine. By the way, Nespresso replaced the first machine and I'm still having the same issues. I had the Citiz and thought it made much better, stronger coffee. What are your thoughts.

I like having my aeroccino 3 or any other frother that froths cold because the creatista won’t do cold frothing

You can use both settings separately

What about americano’s. Will this do that? Do the larger capsules fit?

You will have to add your own water to the espresso, so technically no it doesn’t have an americano setting. The bigger capsules are for vertuo line only so no they won’t fit

How do you know how much milk to add for each drink? Are their recipes?

They are my recipes based on personal preferences. There are no rules so eyeball it and see what you like, usually half cup of milk is what I lean towards most drinks

You were mistaken with the crema. The original line espresso machines have always had the thin crema (the way an espresso is suppose to be) this is why I prefer the original line over the Vertuo machines because they make espresso' closer to the manual ground machines. The thick crema is a marketing thing in the Vertuo line, it is caused by a centrifuge process (spinning of the large capsule at high speed) while brewing creating that fake thick crema that seems to be all the rage.

I’ll have to disagree, I wasn’t expecting a thick fake Crema like vertuo. I was expecting crema like my mini essenza did. And thick Crema is possible because I have an espresso machine at home with a porta filter and all that and it produces excellent Crema not thin at all. But I know what you mean in regards to vertuo Crema

It’s a matter of white but has a pearly finish look to it

What is "pH delight"? Do you mean "Peach?" (peech)...or is it some kind of pH adjustment to the coffee?

I never thought it was, it depends on capsules too but I always liked 6-9 intensity ones

I love the machine but i have an issue with it :/. Does your coffee come out hot? Because mine comes out warm where i can put my finger in and itll feel just warm and not hot which is quite sad.
