Is Natural Hair REALLY Hard To Deal With?
Hi loves
Here's the second video in this series. This one is all about accepting your hair for what it is, rather than trying to make it be something that it isn't
Hope you like it!

After embracing my natural hair years ago, I realized that our hair is more versatile and you can create really beautiful styles that straighter hair cannot.

True! It's very versatile
Your channel was promoted on my channel and I was inspired by the title of your video 😊 Many black women do not love their hair, which is shown by their habits of buying wigs that don't resemble their natural hair at all, but that's the hair they _wished_ they would have. I also was like that for many years, not liking my natural hair, because I thought natural hair can't be long unless you're lucky. I realised in 2013 that that is a lie. I love my hair completely and it's growing longer and longer. Thanks for sharing this video and your honesty! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
I agree so much. How can we push our hair ( or any natural part of ourselves) into its opposite then be surprised when it withers and betrays us? When i changed my idea about -The ingredients that were better -the styles that were healthier and more becoming - the unique regimen i needed my hair grew so much better. On top of that, my self esteem skyrocketed as i searched and cultivated the " tools" that served me well. The idea of everything perfectly contoured to my needs seeped out into other areas of my life. So amazing!💗✨ Thank you for being a platform of true haircare! -

Aww thank-you so much for this wonderful comment!
Yes, I also love Japanese and Korean culture, but not to the detriment of my own. I've always thought their language, food, and architecture were amazing. However, I never expected or wanted my hair to be like theirs. I grew up among women with natural hair so I loved and appreciated my hair for all its kinks and coils and the wonderful things that it could do. Since there are all different textures of natural hair in my family I also learned that they are all beautiful in their own way and each one for the most part is taken care of in a similar manner. Basically, all hair needs to be shampooed, conditioned, detangled, and styled appropriately based on its texture.

@@ifshesopleases I was just lucky. So many of us came up getting relaxers very young and not getting a chance to learn and love our hair. It is wonderful that it's changing.
This is why we need to stop speaking in generalities when it comes to natural hair. Everyone doesn’t have the same experience, even within similar hair types. All you can give are your own experiences with your own approach and people can take it or leave it-nothing becomes a ‘rule’ until you subscribe to it.
