Cost of living is comparatively lower in Calgary and Halifax. But should consider the career opportunities and weather. Ottawa is in Ontario, much same as Toronto.

Hi :) As your wife's occupation is in healthcare stream, you can choose any province because Canada is in need of healthcare professionals. I would like to highlight a point here. if you gain your PR through PNP, technically it means, that province nominated you to grant PR status and therefore you must demonstrate a genuine intention to live in the nominating province. You can move out the province whenever you want, there is no specified legal time frame about how long you should remain in your nominating province, but most of the advice online is 2 years unless you have a compelling reason to move. If you get your PR ideally you can stay anywhere in Canada but then during citizenship or PR renewal there could be some issues regarding not staying in the province.

I honestly don’t have much information about the Banking field. But I can say, right now every field is really tough. Applying for jobs, networking, connecting with the staffing firms might help. Let's hope that the job market will get better by the time you come to Canada. All the best on your immigration journey :)

To a banking job in canada. You need have necessary credentials. If you want a start a new entry level position. Start with investment funds in canada or Canadian securities course.

If you can earn more than 120-150k then you are most welcome if less than that its gonna be tight budget. Think twice before you try to move.
