Hi Zach thanks for taking the time to create this content for your followers. Unfortunately, i wouldn't be running to book a cruise with ship.

I was on this ship in February and we are going again for our anniversary. Knock it all you want, it is a great time. Easy cheap get away. Yes, the rooms are very nice. Our stateroom was laid out differently. We had a table under the window and the bed was closer to the bathroom. After we got back, we booked on the new to them ship, Islander. Don't knock it till you try it. I cruised in the early 90's as a kid, and it was so nostalgic for me.

Zach - impressive that you were just in Australia and bam!…just like that - here you are in Florida, giving all of us another awesome video! Sending hugs from Cel Beyond - this ship is awesome!! One of the best cruises, ever

Zach, this is a very thorough and unbiased summary of the Margaritaville At Sea. As a novice cruiser (actually taking my first cruise on Virgin in May) I appreciate your honest reviews of the cruises you take. They are helping me decide which line to select after Virgin. I would have no hesitation to try the Margaritaville Islander this fall from Tampa. I also appreciate you going through the shops and showing a few prices here and there. It is great to know what to expect. Thanks so much! 🙂

You'll be spoiled after Virgin Voyages IMO lol but I still had a great time on MVAS 3/28-3/30.

I enjoyed this adventure with you on this cruise ship. Thank you so much for taking time out to do this for us. I hoped you enjoyed this 48 hour cruise as well. Amen

Hi Zach. I can handle almost any bad dining room situation without complaining - but - cold food is the absolout exception. Back it goes to the kitchen every time.

The odds of me getting on one of these ships is somewhere south of zero.

My husband are are going soon and i must say these videos are great as a refrence.As for us im more int in the destination versus the cruise.

But it definitely shocked many people who thinks that it's by far one of the worse. While it's not perfect and has it spare of issues they at least try to put some effort when it comes to it being a 2-night cruise.

You're not wrong, I mean you can literally buy an unlimited annual pass for 2 people to this cruise and it's only $299 for veterans and cops for a full 14 months of access. 😭

Different experience for any cruise I've been on. I kept thinking of 1990's convention hotel redone and trying to stay in business.

I got a cruise for free as I am a nurse. I’ve cruised many times before and I’m looking forward to it.

We had a great time aboard this ship. It’s a little older, but it wasn’t quite as bad as many of the viral videos made it out to be.

This is for people who are only looking at cost and/or have very low standards. When I was a kid back in the 50’s/60’s in a rural area, the only amusement park in the county had a restroom that was an outhouse. This cruise would’ve been a wonderful experience for us compared to that. For one of the few vacations my family took we drove to Canada and rented a cottage on a lake with an outhouse. MaS would’ve seemed luxurious to me back then. Thankfully I am on a Celebrity cruise at this very moment 😎

My brother lives in Palm Beach. Didn't realize West Palm Beach had a commercial port at all.

It was good for a quick getaway. I think you would be very safe to sail solo, I would just avoid Spring Break so it will be a quieter experience.

I actually went on this cruise down too long ago like couple days actually and so far I think it's actually not that bad While it's not perfect or anything near a carnival or a royal Caribbean. It's still a good ship especially for what it is to take someone to the Bahamas for 2 days.

It's a 2 day cruise and the muster drill takes up the entire first day 😭

I love your channel but "this amazing stateroom"?? It looked worse than the rent by the hour motels I've been to. Thanks for being upfront that they gave you the $500 cruise for free but you're better than this Zach. Hopefully they paid you more than just the cheap cruise for this commercial .

Morgan from the Very Unofficial Travel Guides said that his cabin on MAS was actually cleaner and better maintained than his balcony cabin on Celebrity Equinox…. I was shocked -but he backed it up with his videos / photos / review / side by side comparison.

That’s actually a very fair statement. While this room wasn’t perfect, my stateroom on Celebrity Equinox was falling apart! On one of my Celebrity cruises the Infinite Verandah didn’t even work. On my last Celebrity cruise I had nasty brown/grey water in my shower one morning/afternoon.

@@AngieRTaylor Equinox is way past due for refurbishment after the incident that delayed it 5 years ago and then covid shutdown. But almost all of the videos I've seen from others on MAS have shown worn out fixtures, peeling wallpaper and random holes in the walls.

I literally just came back from that cruise and I actually don't hate it It's not perfect or anything near all of the best cruises of right now but for what it worth the price and for it to be something like a 2-day cruise it definitely worth it especially when it comes to people who first time is to cruising and trying to start out small and build to the top I definitely give this a 7 out of 10

Couldn't agree more. We went in February and it was an awesome time. It would have been my 12th cruise, so it's not like I don't know what cruising is like 😊

I hope the crew on this ship get the experience they need to join other brands with better ships. A constant 2 day turn has to be grueling on them along with guests who have expectations that greatly exceed the price. Maybe the new ship out of Tampa, with it's longer trips and presumably a new ship, will have better service.

The crew on this ship is one of the best crews I've ever experienced. They are super nice and really care about the ship. I spoke with one who had been in the cruise industry for over 10 years and said it was one of his favorite times

Certainly, while it's clear that you can't equate this product with the lavishness of a premium or luxury cruise, if you're seeking a brief 2-3 day getaway with enjoyment in mind, they might be worth considering.

as someone who was on this ship in Feb, yes the chairs are out. There was a lot of shit weather here in Florida thought March.

It’s kind of what to expect on an inexpensive cruise like that. You are getting the basics, nothing wow, just OK.

Love all the comments saying you are "better" than this. You've spent tens of thousands on Celebrity and they have given you exactly NOTHING. Why? Cause you won't kiss their asses and praise them - those are the facts. And all these fragile people who watch you are so offended at a budget cruise line giving you something for FREE?? You were critical and fair with this cruise. Some of your viewers sound like cry babies.

You don't have to agree with it - that is very fair. But I take issue that because it is a budget cruise many of his viewers are up in arms. You know that is the truth plain and simple. If it isn't for you, it isn't for you. But let's not pretend that that's not what's happening. Maybe if Celebrity or other lines offered free cruises to vloggers who aren't guaranteed to give glowing reviews - you'd see more of what you want. And I watched the whole video - Zach didn't say the cruise was amazing. He had plenty of issues.

@@jcd3899 I think you're missing the point that what I want is the truth, not a paid endorsement. But like I said, I'm fine with it being disclosed that it was paid for by the line so we can judge for ourselves. It's just a radically different review than other vloggers have done on the ship and not the usual fare Zach has posted before. I'm still shocked that he made the room sound so amazing when it was so cheap and no frills. I guess a USB port makes a difference?

Paula, this was not a paid endorsement. I was not paid for my review, only given a chance to cruise on the ship for free. Also, I did want to mention that reviews by the other vloggers you mention were largely done when this line began sailing in 2022. The ship was then renovated in 2023 to improve upon the many critiques the line was receiving. I am always fair and honest, and there were plenty of things I critiqued in this video, but I’m not going to unfairly critique and criticize just to get views. I told the MAS folks before I went that I would always give authentic and honest feedback on my videos and they were ok with that. That’s what I’ve done here. I appreciate you watching, as always, but I did want to clarify that I am not endorsing anything, nor was I paid to do so.

My issue is Virgin Voyages was my first cruise which set the Standard for me. My father wants to sail this line solely due to the price. But it seems like there is almost nothing to do on the ship, the pool looks worst than Virgin (considered the worst pool on all cruise ships), none of the bars seem to have an exciting theme/appearance, the arcade looked like a motel 6 arcade. The room looks terrible, the curtain alone was disgusting, Atleast it appeared to be very stained on my screen. The food was overall disappointing the buffet honestly the dessert looks the best it would have been nice to see the breakfast in the buffet. Sadly I was hoping the pizza would be half way decent but appears they didn’t even open. Would be curious to see the new ship and hopefully some improvements in some of the small areas like an improved menu. I understand the market for this cruise is different than other lines. I would probably pick this over carnival mostly due to price and less people on board are their strengths.

It’s actually not optional and they will not permit you to sail until you’ve completed muster drill.

sounds like unless you go to speciality resaurant its... crap... JJ cruises or Ben and DAVID rerviewed it badly... with the smell of extrement pretty bad....dnt think I;d try them

They reviewed it prior to a major refurbishment that happened in 2023, so I think Margaritaville At Sea has addressed some of those major issues identified in earlier reviews. Thanks for watching!

Really? Several people have commented here saying the opposite of that. This is a low cost cruise, so keep in mind you can’t expect a luxury experience at that price point. Also, this wasn’t a review, I was simply highlighting the cruise as I experienced it. Thanks!
