I think all around, he has the deepest offensive bag in the league. Harden is a better scorer, but isn't nearly as elite of a passer. Kyrie is a better finisher and ball handler, but again Luka is a better passer. He just has so many options to use

You keep saying you gotta help, but if someone helps of their man, luka will find them and the Mavs are a three point shooting team. Therefore, they can't really help of the shooters when Luka gets inside, and even if they did, he is likely to beat them, or find the open man for a 3 instead of a 2.

I'd say people (ie media) vastly underrated him at first. Well, that's kinda OK but some underrated him purely on origin and color Then, saw an opportunity in getting a whole new set of "watching numbers" so started overhyping him for that particular reason In second year however he improved his "seemlessness" and movement ALOT. He's not overhyped for sure this particular season Last season after a while certainly WAS for a while though. P.S., took about half a year for Rick to give Luka the ball, I.e. the "keys" to his ofense So THAT might be a thing cause Fans started to overrate Luka (albeit slightly) for Rick to see his potential as a leader also. Though it was kinda frustrating to watch him force Luka stay in the corner for like half his game time tbh I think he's not overhyped or underhyped tbh, but rather BOTH (depending on the periods of his career) due to the fact that it was "easy self promotion" for BBall channels everywhere IMO And yes, shows like the Skip Bayless one found a lot more years of hate, ie viewership, so there will be more of that tbh :P

Luka will take Lebrons crown! And be the new king once Lebron retires. Luka will be a top3 player of all time. And it s not overhyping! He s putting up historical numbers. Nobody at this age has ever done this and in general just 2 other players in the history of the nba. Luka has a skill that nobody is able to understand. He makes everyone around him better. Only lebron can do that. He made a bottom of the league team to a team with the highest offensive rating in just his second season. Luka is the completest player in the league with Lebron. He can rebound, pass, dribble, shoot, drive. Just because he isn't super athletic doesn't mean he s worse than the more athletic players like kawhi. He s beating everyone with his iq and he ll be the completest player in the league for the next 20 years. He ll be next generations goat. And thats just how it is. A 20 year old averaging a near 30 pt triple double is unheard of. He s making the hardest things look so easy. Luka is the truth. In fact he s the most skilled and talented player in the league since he can score from anywhere. He shoots almost 70% in the restricted area, thats big man numbers without stand out athleticism.

I don't think that it will ever happen. Luka may be one of the best skillful young player, but he's not really talented and he really lack speed and athleticism, too. Remember, him and other players today are playing in the league that is more offense ordinate than its defense counterpart.

Not talented? He s the most talented player in the league. That s how he scores on Kawhi and PG 40 pts etc, he s pure talent every nba expert says that Luka has the most talent in the league! What you're saying is only wishful thinking, Luka is NOT a talented player, he's just a good skillful player for a young age entering his second year the NBA. So what if hes playing great games, it don't really mean a damn thing to me. Another thing that you should about Luka Doncic, as good as you think he is, not a really good defender or at least don't put a lot of effort to it, he might be "good" at moving the ball with it, but moving without the ball is where Luka is lacking because he DO NOT HAVE SPEED, and even though he's playing okay without much athleticism, his style of playing is predictable, meaning that he can be easily exposed, So why would I put a youngster like Luka and other young players over NBA veterans who been the league a lot long than them, it aint like he won a ring and I don't want to hear about "when he will win a ring" talk because he don't have one now.

Yeah overrszed thats way he is in conversaion for mvp.

He needs to shoot the ball better, as of now he's a liability from deep and that's fact. He has to play better in the clutch too. And don't even try to bring up small sample sizes like game 3 of the Clipper series lol overall his team has sucked in the clutch regardless of their historical offensive rating. No doubt he's special, but he can't expect to win without those 2 traits....haven't even mentioned his inability to play off the ball. But yeah he's literally in the perfect system although it inflates his stats, it does maximize his strengths.

You need to realize something, players respected Duncan and other greats like him, but players FEARED Micheal Jordan. He made other legends feel as if they were not the best player in the world. He is basketball, and us the ultimate basketball superstar. But I personally think that MJ is the best midrange shooter ever regardless of % Also wow u brought up Wilt who is the greatest physical specimen in sports ever blocking Kareem 30 times. I don't think the system is inflating his stats I think he's chasing stats because when I watch him play all he does on defense is sag off the guy he's guarding so can cherry pick easy rebounds to padd his rebounding numbers the way he plays on defense is very similar to what LeBron does.
