IS KOSOVO SAFE? TRAVELLING TO MITROVICA 🇽🇰

I visit Mitrovica, a city where Albanians and Serbs are separated by a bridge. I walk around both sides of the city, to give an idea for how safe Kosovo is as a traveller.

I went to Kosovo about two months before you, it's super safe indeed and the locals go to insane extents in how much they do for you and how many free stuff they give you. One evening I was in the countryside somewhere in the south-west part trying to get to this mountain village called Brod and got picked up by three dudes in a car. They payed me like three beers, bought me a free bread fresh and drove me half an hour further than they needed to go themselves. It's crazy really, people in the West who are usually much richer wouldn't be so eager to do these things. Wish I went to see Mitrovica as well. Too bad your comment sections are this cancerous though

Johan Delvare Very true but the west had been blocked for a couple of years as the serbian minatory has been making trouble throughout the Bosnian-Albanian Cites called "Lagja e Bosnikave" although we can all agree that the comment sections are filled of Albanians and Serbs Arguing About The Kosovar Territory.

The very place where that happened is Staro Gacko and it is known by massacre on serb farmers in 1999. Also Albanians for the 2nd time have attacked ambulance in Suvi dol near Mitrovica.

For now Kosovo is simply Kosovo. Serbs in Kosovo may not accept its sovereignty, but at least they either have to live separately or in the same "country" under a community like Republica Srpska in Bosnia. But nowadays Serbian sovereignty doesn't make sense in such a case, because Kosovo's population is over 90% Albanian. Personally, due to common cultural ties with Serbs, I comprehend their position on that. I hope that as a nation they will remain strong, unified, achieving progress and act for their welfare.

1000% is sefe The allegations first appeared in the media in The Hunt: Me and the War Criminals, written in 2008 by Carla Del Ponte, a former chief prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). In her book, Del Ponte states that Kosovo Albanians harvested organs of kidnapped ethnic Serbs after the armed conflict ended in 1999. These accusations were backed by her own visit to the site; several witnesses both in and out of the ICTY, one of whom "personally made an organ delivery" to an Albanian airport for transport abroad; and "confirmed information directly gathered by the tribunal."[10] Del Ponte concluded that if the case had been opened before Kosovo's declaration of independence, world governments might not have had the same stance on the Kosovo question.[10] The Swiss government ordered Del Ponte not to discuss the case.

  • @spiceguy2408

IdontGiveFuck 001 Okay let's put it into perspective here. The Albanian population in the Balkans rounds to about 5 million. Out of these 5 million roughly 300 people have gone to fight for Isis. In France the Muslim population is around 4 million yet 1,800 people have gone to fight for Isis. (Lots of Moroccan, Algerian Muslims in France). So if you take the Muslim population per country into account and work out a capita out of that, you will find Kosovo ranks at roughly 16th (lower then Serbia and Bosnia) while Albania ranks at 22nd. (This is in Europe by the way).

Mrgun2408 Population in France are not just 4 million muslims, but others too. I see what are you trying to do here. You see just 300 Albanian joined Isis, but what about many others Albos that failed in process going to Syria and were arressted? So, that 300 × 3 or 4 times.

It's true in the north Serbs are scared of Belgrade and the influence of Russian criminal organizations that control the North of Mitrovica. However Kosova's police has little influence in the north . We are condemned on every step we make even when it's supported and requested by local Serbs and there's thorough evidence of illegal activities. Even the western supportive countries don't side with us and stand inferior to the one place in Europe that is run by Russian rebels and non-local criminal Serbs directed from Belgrade.

@@vladimirzlatanovic1947 You know it's propaganda , Thaqi the President deserves to be executed because he works for Serbian interests and is a typical power hungry politician in the Balkan . The hague cleared him out of war crimes, he never even was in the battlefront, he is a phony . As far as drugs go, that's absolutely propaganda, I wish Albanians had so much control on the underground but the reality is that Albanians managed to sell weed in Europe before there was a legal means of obtaining it pretty much everywhere . Slavs are known for human trafficking , genocide, weapons sales to terrorist groups in the middle east, and they mainly traffic their own children, and relatives in the illegal brothels of Europe . Apart from petty groups in EU that work as drug dealers, there's no major criminal group in Albania and Kosova that would even compare to mafias from Serbia. Bulgaria, Czechia , Ukraine, Romania and that's just obvious statistically, both Kosova and Albania have heavy control in the legal system by EU missions, such as EULEX and UNMIK and other observers, they pretty much go all out in explaining the massive corruptions and the scale of organized crime and it's proportionally higher than the typical EU country, but it's significantly smaller than the neighboring Balkan countries that are power hubs of crime . The media coverage Albanians get for crime is obvious propaganda, and the corrupt governments in Albania don't do anything against plots from other countries to create a negative image because they don't necessarily care as long as they don't get personally negative coverage . Both Albanian governments are on Serbia's side in everything and in total control of EU who happens to pet Serbia on the back even when it's obvious that Serbia in nothing short of a Russian puppet state in Europe. Lista Serbska has worked tirelessly to bring Thaqi's party to power, he is national hero to Vucic. Imagine a Kosove with leaders that actually treat Serbia as it should be treated, it would easily end up in all out war .
