I don’t judge a parent who has said “enough” to a child. I had to do it and as painful as it is, I’ve done my very best and we have each gone on to enjoy our lives with mutual respect for each other’s choices. Parents are allowed to live their last years in peace once the child is a grown up and making their own way. Is it sad? Yes but it is also very freeing to be able to live your own life on both sides. Forgiveness is there but you don’t have to be around each other to live a happy life.

Harry is not a soothing presence for the King who is having treatment for cancer. Cancer patients do not need stress.

If my father had had my top level security removed, intentionally scheduled his cornation on my son's birthday, evicted me from the English residence that I had paid $3 mil to renovate for my family and then after taking away my residence, repeatedly denied me a room to stay, I dont think I would be trying to reconcile. Also, everyone knew that when Charles intentionally scheduled a garden party on the same day and at almost the same time as the Invictus games 10th anniversary ceremony that he wasnt going to have time to meet with Harry.

I heard from a royal reporter who is considered an insider, that King Charles wanted to speak with Archie on Monday and wish him Happy Birthday. But Meghan made demands wanting to be on the call and speak with King Charles who DID NOT want to speak with Meghan. So she did not allow the call to take place as her demands were not met. I believe Harry made demands for the meeting as to who could be there and the King said NO to being controlled by Meghan.

Carole is correct in my mind. Harry is a petulant spoiled brat boy. I do hope they reconnect. But Harry needs to apologize for the hurt he has caused. He needs to come over with the grandkids, without Markle, and without a camera crew. That would be a start. I believe Harry is hurting. But his fury is misdirected and he needs to atone. As a central coast Californian, I would love for the two of them to leave. They are tarnishing this beautiful section of our state. Also, a great first start is for Thomas Markle to see his grandkids. No fanfare. Just a family starting to understand the hurt they are causing.
