oh and there were a lot of protesters in Canada but.. The truck thing was a joke. A pathetic joke. Its really hard for me to see the truckers get so much attention when anti mask guys like me were being ignored for TWO YEARS! Some of us even had guns and tanks and we got totally ignored. Meanwhile some trucker nobodies gets all the attention.... Dam this is frustrating. The mandatory mask law has finally been removed and i am glad for this because we were legitly preparing to fight a civil war because our protests were being so ignored by the media that most people thought we anti mask guys didnt even exist. I am so glad we didnt have to use violence and murder in the end, but it came really close to it.

Can you educate the Americans on the shenanigans you have to endure just to do your work? Most people don't know how businesses operate; how governments obstruct one's every move; how governments tax you to no end; how governments harass you to make you give up and quit your career/business. Most people don't know the details and for us to wake up, we need to hear details. Like in Hawaii we know that the state hates small businesses and will drive them to extinction - but no one cares because we don't hear how "they're" doing that. Antagonize? In his press conference last Monday Trudeau literally called the protesters "Nawtzees." Right before he called for an end to the "divisiveness." Last year, there were large-scale (and similar) Farmer's protests in India. Roads leading to New Delhi here blocked by farmers and truckers. PM Mr Justin Trudeau then, out of the blue, tweeted about "Democracy was in danger in India" and that he extended his support to the protesting farmers", etc. But India did not declare an Emergency. And in fact, after a while, the Government reversed its decision and withdrew that contentious Bill. Now when Justin Trudeau has to face the same situation in Canada, what does he do? He runs away, and goes into hiding, citing "security concerns". He DEMANDS that the Truckers end the protest. And then he declares an Emergency. A great supporter of Democracy, indeed. Sir Humphrey Appleby would have opined that the Canadian PM was indeed a 'courageous man' :-D

Truckers could dismantle modern society in any country simply by sitting at home for 2 weeks. Every scrap of food, every bottle of water and every gallon of Gasoline are all delivered by truck. Every single store depends on trucks to resupply. A disruption of a week would mean empty shelves everywhere. 2 weeks would be actual armageddon in every city.

Why do you think there's been a big push in the last couple of years by companies like Amazon to get driverless trucks approved for interstate and inner city travel? They already know what you're saying is true. All they're doing now is trying to see how far they can push the line before people snap. They've already proved that the vast majority of people are too decadent, gullible and apathetic to actually see what's at stake here.

They are a small minority of radical right wing Canadians who are upset because they are unwilling to do their duty as Canadians and follow the public health order created to help protect our border against CoViD spreading from the USA to Canada and vice versa. Perhaps they should not be in this profession if they feel that safety is a personal choice while driving truck.

Justin is worst than a coward. He went on national TV and caused other Canadians to be violent against the peaceful protesters. Section 319(2): Promoting hatred-makes it an offence to wilfully promote hatred against any identifiable group, by making statements (other than in private conversation).

I was excited when Rob Ford announced November 3, 2021 all vaccine mandates for healthcare are lifted. Then it wasn't carried out by institutions. Jordan is right about Trudeau. I’m from Texas, so I’ve had little exposure to him. Lately I’ve paid some attention to him, since he and his family were involved with a questionable charity. My immediate impression was that he was a complete phony, with a delivery reminiscent of a TV evangelist. It is now evident that he is a coward and a slanderer. Had he met with the truckers and established a dialogue with them, it would have done great good. But he is clearly not capable of that. History will not be kind to him, and Canadians should show him the door.

Many Truckers are already protesting in America. Many drivers have quit over roadside inspections. Roadside inspections invalidate the annual inspection process. The roadside inspections need to stop.

Its like listenin to mum. You listen and it lasts forever just to get to the point. In which you knew was coming and agreed before dealing with the rhetoric elluding to the same outcome. And im not even angry or sad. Mums are the best 🥰

The fact Ottawa made it illegal to help these people, and now have been caught sending cops to literally steal their gas and food, (note that they've been giving out free food too) shows me that all governments are INHERENTLY tyrannical, because as soon as it's advantageous, literally nothing stops them from committing crimes and no one holds them accountable.

Vocal groups are rallying similar to the Jan 6 capital riots now because they're emboldened by media figures who aren't necessarily being honest. Trudeau leaving does not indicate anything yet. Being a farmer I agree that non-dairy producers have been squeezed and it is time for that to stop. I cannot disagree with your description of the PM. Be that as it may, the truckers were off side in the early days - my daughter was threatened by them on her way to work. You can imagine my anger… 99lb girl alone…. Had they demanded that the cross-boarder exemption be lifted they may well have gotten what they wanted. Instead their list of demand were such that their organizer knew very well

I have experienced this trucker first hand. They are like a mob without regard for others rights. As a tax payer in Canada who is impacted due to the traffic jam they are causing in downtown Ottawa I am being directly impacted. These protesters are using hooligan tactics that directly impact the rights of other Canadians who need to use the roads to get to work on time causing unnecessary traffic. I pay my taxes just as they do so they have no right to impinge on my right to the roads and streets to get to work. They are also causing a public nuisance making a lot of noise for days on end. Yes I agree these people should be arrested and charged and pay a hefty fine.

I can't believe this is happening in my life time. It's moving faster then I thought

Trudeau lectured my country (India) on ethos of democracy when we were facing a protest of farmers from the Punjab region which caused a lot of chaos, seeing him getting grilled by every other person out there brings a tear of joy to my eye.

So hey, I'm just an American from Tennessee. I have something I would like to tell all of you. I've never heard an American speak poorly of Canada. We look to you as true neighbors and allies. We stand with you and your struggle against this tyranny. People often forget that Canada sent their armed forces to the west coast of Europe. It was the last port between North America and the Germans having clear and easy access to our shared lands. America attempted to help but our boats kept getting shot down by german u-boats. Our leader refused to keep sending ships because the Germans had our ports pinned. The weather in Europe was about to turn to deep winter. Germans knew if they held that port they would win the war. If they lost that port their only option was escaping and making their way to russia ( during winter mind you). All hope seemed lost, and Canada sent their entire Military to the port to reinforce them. Leaving from different ports in north America than the Americans, they slipped by the U-boats. If it wasn't for Canada we would all be speaking German. We owe Canada and it's great people a deep respect. A respect I'm happy to report i've always witnessed, and held. God bless the Great land of Canada and keep your stick on the ice boys!

The Ottawa police chief just announced yesterday he’s going to use force on the peaceful protestors because of their so called occupation. These protestors are following their civil and charter of rights to protest peacefully. He’s actually going to start a riot himself so he forgot what his Oath was. Ridiculous 💪🇨🇦🇨🇦💪

@@alexlaroque5108 Trudeau has the next 2 elections in the bag, conservatives dying from covid (I wonder why) and the liberal strongholds of Toronto/Vancouver/Montreal are only getting much much larger with more voters/seats.

He is a coward. He is also a despicable and dishonourable liar for attempting to brand them as; "racist" "fascist" and "insurrectionist". But then I suppose when you are 100% completely wrong, you need to rely on dirty cheap tactics to try to win the argument, as truth and honesty will only help the other sides case.

Been there every day at least 6 hours . 12 hours in total yesterday walking constantly. The only piece of garbage I saw on the ground was a napkin that fell out of my pocket. And I quickly picked it up and put it in a garbage bag right away. Leave the protest and theres garbage everywhere. This protest is extremely peaceful and full of love
