The Chiefs have rarely been good judges of QB talent. We've drafted 33 QB's in our history, and of those the only standout successes have been Roger Staubach and Patrick Mahomes. We just have historically been really bad at helping young quarterbacks develop their talent. Wherever Joe ends up, I hope he has good coaches and trainers, and a really good starting QB to learn from for a year or 2.

The best way to do that is for him to tell the Bengals, behind closed doors, that he won't play for them before the draft even starts. That way the Bengals have time to adjust and they won't take it public because they want to maintain his draft stock for a possible trade. By keeping it private the Bengals are kept in a decent position and Burrow doesn't come into the league with whispers of a big, me first, ego.

Yes, his team was very talented and he won't have that in Cincy if they draft him so I'm not expecting him to dominate right away by any means, but I would never question his leadership ability.

The best part of Joe Burrow is his ability above the shoulders. All of the great ones have it because they just maximize the gifts that they have and beat your brains out. Peyton: Mental, Montana: Gamer, Brady: A chip on his shoulder the size of California, Farve: Heart & Balls!!! Well Joe has a little bit of all of them wrapped up into one. If you don't think that he'll energize that ownership then think again. This will be Mike Brown's last chance to right his legacy and leave the franchise in good hands. Thats the reason he tried to get Deandre Hopkins and spent on the defensive side of the ball. You heard it here first. The Bengals will be major players in the AFC for years to come. Btw: Bengals don't have a roster to compete immediately... Fake news!!! Look it up yourself. The only weakness and most important is the offensive line and linebacker. PS: Bobby Hart must be cut before you take a shower in the morning. Somehow he's still on this team. Just have Amazon delivery bring his walking papers. Grub Hub, Meals on Wheels!!! Anybody

@@Jacob-jj8gi It may just be a case of poor talent evaluation. Nick Saban waited a long time to use Tua instead of Jalen Hurts. Baker Mayfield wasn't recruited by any major colleges and had to be a walk-on. The Browns were obviously taking way too long to give Mayfield the reigns. The Titans piddled around with Demarco Murray instead of handing it to Derrick Henry. Both Notre Dame and Michigan think they have good quarterbacks. The Broncos thought nothing about discarding Shaq Barrett. Russell Wilson was a third round pick and Dak Presscott was a fourth. The sports world is filled with tales of better players getting pushed into backup roles. It wouldn't shock me if the same thing happened to Burrow.

__ villainxjeby well, he’s not just praising the team. He’s saying that there was lots of skill on that team. It was a team full of leaders. But If you’re the leader of leaders you must be pretty good at leading people, which Joe was very successful in doing. He said he didn’t give a good answer because it’s an interview, it’s quick. He doesn’t have much time to make a case for his argument but the example he presents states itself well when you listen to it and frame it with the original question.

In college, it's not just about talent. It's about how much the coach likes you. It's why he left, he felt like the coach wasnt going to give him the chance since he felt like he owed it to the starting QB at the time. Not to mention the Injury

Excuses excuses talent always wins out in big time programs 🙄 he couldn’t beat out QBs that aren’t even in the league yet is a unquestioned first overall pick? I think the kid can be good but too many have high praises for a guy with one good year

@@deez6682 I mean I agree with you on that. I dont have any real fondness of Burrow, but some programs and even bigger programs go with personality over talent. I mean Giants choosing Jones is a good example even though more dont come to mind.
