Thanks for the comment. Have 12,000 miles on my Expedition and the seat is my only complaint. The front wedgie is real. Is that better with this seat? I’m gonna have to give it a go I think. Thanks for sharing your experience. Enjoy that beautiful beast of a bike. 🏍️💨💪🏽

Good commentary. The Ergo seat that comes standard on the Expedition is mighty nice. And I'm notoriously wimpy when it comes to saddles hurting my bum.

Once you have your motorcycle seat customized for YOU, no production seat will ever be good enough for you. It's THAT much better.

@@MotoPhotoAdventures I'm lucky to live near a world-class custom seat designer (Mr. Ed's Moto), so every bike I have had that I know I want to keep long-term has had one of their seats. Tell ya what: I would be happy to help facilitate a custom seat for you. We could collaborate on an interesting video project… 👍

I’m curious, you mention that the long seat is narrower at the front helping one to get their feet down. Because of this do you find this seat to be better for shorter folks (me) than the stock seat? I can’t flat foot the bike so it’s a little tricky in some off-road and parking situations. I really like the single long seat but only if it’s ostensibly lower than the stock one. Nice video. 👍

Tech specs and forums say it raises you up a bit in the seated position but I find because it is narrower I can reach the ground better. So it kinda is a trade off. Hope that helps.

The seat is about 1 inch higher but smaler, so i think the result is the same and it wont help.
Hey, where did you get that windscreen from. Is it better than the expedition screen?

I did a big trip in January with two long days of interstate, and 7 fun days of off-road riding. The WRS windshild did AWESOME!!!

I bought a puig touring screen which seems similar to the wrs screen and I still have buffeting issues at high speeds. I have to try winglets next

The WRS has zero buffeting. I believe it's made from a thicker material than the stock or Puig models, meaning it flexes less in the wind. Plus it has a unique design with an air channel to help smooth out the airflow. It really is an excellent product!
But does it force you into a front wedgie like the original? I have Expedition and it’s my only complaint. Thanks for the video.

Haha! not that I can tell. In fact, the seat is a bit more flat in comparison to the factory so the tendency to slide forward isn't so pronounced. I suppose that's why Norden put the ridges on the original but those are their own issue, LOL Thanks for the comment!
