I've watched and admired RZE pretty much since their beginning. I came really close a couple of times to buying an Endeavor. But I can't put my finger on it, I just haven't been pushed over the edge. One thing I will say about the higher prices is that it makes impulse buying a lot more difficult. Now that so many microbrands have stepped out of the under $500 mark and are pushing $600 - $1000, it makes me pause and think twice. It's not that I don't think the watch is worth it, but for just a few hundred more, you're into a used Oris or a more established microbrand like Farer, complete with a Swiss movement.

Totally agree. A couple of years ago I would have purchased no problem. Now, I have to be more careful. I am curious how 2024 will be, all watch companies will see sales slow dramatically so curious if they will start lowering pricing.

I just got into watch collecting a couple months ago... couldn't have picked a better time lol. So many great watches coming out

My newly purchased Endeavor had a mushy NH38 movement that did not hack properly. RZE required me to ship the watch head back to Singapore at my cost to get a replacement watch head with a more reliable hacking movement. Cost me an extra $30+. Great watch, but just know that if you get one with a QC problem it will cost you extra to get a replacement.

Even though i normally really love explorer influenced dials with 3 6 9, i prefer this cleaner look. Apart from the hands and bracelet, the dial is a lot like my CW Sealander and this is at least a good bit cheaper than the CW. On another note, great review as always Shane and I've realized another thing I like so much about your reviews is that they are much more than a talking hands video. You mix in interesting still shots both regular and macro with direct camera facing talk sections. Just much better than most. Keep up the good work!

+1. If I may add to this: I agree 100% on how Shane edits the videos. My favorite aspect is the staging and backgrounds that give some insight into Shane’s other interests and character. EDC stuff, chess, Star Wars, gaming dice, etc.

I think this is a great watch, with a good design, my personal preference would have the double bars at 12 o clock instead of the triangle but I get it and that is cool. I love that it is dateless making it symmetrical and lume correct (no black holes at 3 o clock or 6 o clock). I wouldn't really call this a field watch though it certainly could be used for one I think it is more of a general sport watch, a jack of all trades, take anywhere do anything watch which is great, just semantics of description really lol.

Great review! Tough choice between this and the BOLDR Expedition I. I think this has more upgrades but for $600, should come with a Swiss movement. Great watch though.

I bought the yellow dial Resolute Pro watch on a whim. I like the enamel color hue very much, it reminds me of the Zenith Rainbow with mango dial (very rare) which i always wanted but never came across. I don't care that much about the titanium bracelet, it pulls my hair and i replaced it with the fitting rubber strap from RZE which is very comfortable to wear and good quality. The edgy case design reminds me a little of the Bulgari Octo, but in a better way, the Octo shape is too eccentric for me. I wear it as a daily beater and the case seems to hold up well against scratches so far. The movement has a loud rotor but it does not bother while wearing, it runs with a delay of about 5 sec / day.

I wear the resolute carbon with the updated bracelet and find it very comfortable and the on the fly adjustable claps is great. the only fault for me is I would like to see the date at 6 o'clock position, perhaps a more refined case and by that I mean less shape edges

Nice watch, I like that the numbers are gone; they're absolutely unnecessary. I REALLY miss the date complication - I won't buy a watch without one, but I know many disagree about that. Great review as always, thank you!

Tool/Field watch.....Titanium case....very decent bracelet.... I like it. Even at that price, I would consider it.

I love the design and was right on the cusp of buying their dive watch a few months ago. But the dramatic price increase between launch and the current price made me go in a different direction.

I always think of RZE like that N64 game, Perfect Dark, after having split off from the Goldeneye team (in RZE's case, BOLDR) and making something far better than the original. Now if they could just make this exact watch in a 36-38mm case, that would be _perfect._

That's nice and all, but they REALLY need to restock and/or update the Fortitude. It's way overdue.

Still prefer ver2. (I’m a sucker for an explorer dial) although i agree that polar white dial is spectacular.

How does RZE compare in quality with Zelos? For example the latest Blacktip titanium with hardness coating? Id love to see a comparison. Thanks for the review 👍

I have the original and it's agreat watch. Problem is, since I have the original I don't need the new one. They've got a really good design, but it does seem to be missing something? Feels like they're looking for the secret sauce that's going to push this watch into legendary status? I appreciate the better movement that does seem to be the direction micros are going and I like the new watch, but I'm concerned the microbrand and the watch space in general is becoming saturated. I could possibly see myself picking up a bracelet version pre-owned in the future. Or not? 😅

Great review as always. I’ve never been drawn to their watches. The changes are for the better but I’ve always found them to be plain and boring. Their price point does not help either.

Rze are actually getting more mundane as they grow. Some of their earlier models had more character which this model definitely lacks. Zelos at launch price are cheaper and sexier so rze definitely dropping down my "must buy" list. Too boring and too expensive Sorry rze your not doing it for me.
