Is it possible to survive or lower the damage of Goruru's/Garuru's Lightning Sacrifice in Patapon ?
If you played or a least heard of Patapon, you may know Goruru (also named Gorl) and his stronger version, Garuru. They are one of my favorite bosses in the entire franchise. But they have one tiny thing that makes them so annoying : The Lightning Sacrifice attack as Patapedia (the Patapon wiki) calls it. This attack is a one hit KO to any patapon dealing 999 (or 9999 in Patapon 2).
Today, I'm gonna find a way to lower the damage of the attack and maybe also a way to survive it.
For this video, I am using Patapon 1 Remastered and Patapon 2 Remastered for the PS4. But, what I'll do here can be reproduced in the PSP version of the games.

I found a way to escape tht u need an octagon shield and during the attack defend Pon should fall out of his hand

@@Lapislalipek At one moment in the video, I talked about that. Also, you don't need the Octagon shield, you only need to defend at the right time. And if you do it, the Patapon that is about to get killed by Lighting Sacrifice will fall off of Goruru's hand.

@@tufgaming1306 I also tried defending from same boss In Patapon 3 with some... unique Equipment (+14k items lol) and I died still
I thinked that this video have like 1000 likes or something you should have more subs and likes

I saw a vid of someone stunning Gorl during his grab, but it was an early hit.
You can suvive this attack. Just use a normal patapon lvl 10 with Heaven equipment [tatepons] The fact this happened to a none hero and surviving it. This makes my build guaranteed survival for the hero

I just wanna test whether Divine and Demon equipment would work. I just haven't gotten caught during these battle recently.
I only got the good shealds no good weapon for Tete pon
Defending with tatepon hero hero mode doesn't count?

Kinda late to respond. But I tested it and… it worked, but it’s not really surprising considering Tatebroken’s hero mode blocks everything that deals damage.
If you want, i can help with patapon 3. I have got there many weapon, armor and all uber heroes lvl 32
