Is it Possible To Get A GREAT Acoustic Tone When Recording Direct? | Maton Guitars | AP5-Pro Pickup

In this video, we will be exploring the question, "Is it Possible To Get A GREAT Acoustic Tone When Recording Direct?" with the Maton EBG808TE Acoustic Guitar, most importantly, with the new AP5-Pro Pickup.
I will take you thru some live sounds, but most important, some different recorded sounds so you can hear what this guitar sounds like raw, with no post-editing (although I WILL show you what that sounds like at the end, with a bit of polish added as well).

Excellent demonstration video! Thank you Steve.
I recently got my hands on a Maton SRS808C and I love the pickup on this guitar. Thanks for the review and the advice to up the mic and the piezo. Magical sounds from cedar and blackwood that I was unfamiliar with.
Hi Steve, you are without a doubt the greatest teach.
beautiful sound
Thanks so much Steve
Unrelated: Got the blues package. It’s great! Thanks, Steve! You’re rock n roll, dude.
Cole Clark is also Australian made guitar company that offers an amazing sounding plugged in sound.
Great tone direct
An amazing pick up system. My 808 AP5 pro system is far far better than my Gibson, Taylor and Fishman systems.
Christmas that's a good idea to use
Hi Steve Reto from underwater is here
Great sound and video!!
Am I wrong it seems you did not simply duplicate one track to get L and R tracks? Because I see the L and R tracks sound wave are not the same (just a bit different), and they didn’t sound exactly the same.

yeah, when you're recording you don't want to duplicate a recording. it won't accomplish anything. by recording the same part twice you (generally) create a much bigger sound
i plug my Martin into Audacity. Sounds great...
Can you show us how to play big log by Robert plant on the electric guitar I never played that song before. If you the time please do I’ll be glad to watch the video
Noice
My Maton EM-6 uses the original AP5 pickup. When I connected to the amp, there was a hum noise, and when I touched the connection jack, the noise disappeared. My amp is completely normal when connected to other guitars. I sent the product to Maton, but the company said it was normal, so the company is not responsible for warranty. The hum noise from the pick-up made me uncomfortable when I was performing live. I looked into the internery to find a way to overcome it myself and found that there were many people who were in similar situations to me. They taught me to overcome the following: “My problem was ground problem. Some power sockets had no proper wiring or no pro ground, and that's why I had this problem. So, get your own ground fault tester and check power sockets. If that is all OK, then you can try tightening or losening the screws at the bridge pick.” Does this affect the sound of the pickup? I'm worried about your reply. Sorry, I use Google Translation.
what'd i do to have this kind of sound
