Ya akhi, learn the deen properly before speaking The Prophet SAW says that you should let the “lihya” to grow in the Hadith, but what the scholars are discussing here is, what actually counts as a beard, and what isn’t a part of the beard And linguistically Lihya means the hair that grows on the jawbones

@@S.Ozz. What do you mean akhi? This is what the biggest Imams that ever existed discussed in their fiqh No one doubts that the “لحية" is a Fardh, but the question still stands, what even is a lihya Does it include the hair on the chin, does it include hair on the cheeks, hair between the moustache and the chin etc All of these come back to what did the Arabs understand lihya to be

You haven’t answered, there’s no need to be stubborn akhi, this is the religion of Allah And by scholars obviously I don’t mean myself, I’m referring to the salaf themselves For example, during umrah Umar ibn Al Khattab RA and Abu Hurayrah would trim whatever came after the fist length, now tell me about that?

what does the Quran say about how to pray? About the order and specifics of wudhu? Allah swt tells us in Surah An Nisa "O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the messenger and those of you who are in authority; and if ye have a dispute concerning any matter, refer it to Allah and the messenger if ye are (in truth) believers in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and more seemly in the end." - We follow the Quran and the Sunnah so we cannot just say oh what does the Quran say, its not in the Quran therefore we dont need to follow etc. Im not sure if you meant it like this or you were genuinely asking if the Quran talks about it, but just wanted to clarify in case. May Allah swt bless you.

Islam also teaches us to be hygienic and groom ourselves. Overgrown beards are not only smelly especially after eating, it looks like armpit hair on your face. So trim your beard and your under south hair! Shave your armpit hair if your trimmed armpit hair smells. Islam is simple. Beard do not represent your iman.

Brother, this is not how we talk about a fellow brother, whether sinful or righteous, alive or dead. We conceal the sins of others, and further, only Allah knows; even without his beard, he could easily be much more beloved to Allah swt than you and I with our beards. We pray Allah has mercy on him, forgives him of any shortcomings and grants him Jannatul Firdaus.

its not about whether God cares or needs it because every single human could obey Him and it wouldnt make Allah swt greater - His greatness is independent of the creation and their actions. Its about complete submission to the Creator, and so whatever is ordained on us, we do, even if we do not see the apparent benefit, or its uncomfortable or difficult. And we do not say nonsense and attempt to use our own intellect and emotion to try to justify what Allah wants or does not want from us.
