Thank you for your information, it is very helpful for many patients. In our experience, it is posible to present these symptoms for several weeks. In fact, although surgery is correctly performed, healing process is not the same for everybody and stinging can be present for a longer period. Kind regards from Spain.

I'm currently on day 8 now, and this stinging is awful. still taking intermittent analgesia for it. I did have a massive procedure with close to 22,000 Grafts done. Overall I'm super happy with the result. Some people say healing was easy. IT WAS NOT for me, super painful and uncomfortable for a good week. Sleeping upright for the first 5 nights is awful, but you quickly adapt. The swelling to the forehead and the tension it causes was probably the worst pain overall.

@@bradleypeters708 nope, approx 22,000 grafts. Was a 15hour procedure. Here's my graft count breakdown post procedure: Grafts 1's = 265 2's = 3228 3's = 7767 4's = 7800 5's = 2275 6's = 450 7's = 7 Totalling = 21,792

You said few days? It’s been 2 months and 20 days since i had my transplant, and I still have these stings and horrible itchy skin all over my donor area. 😭😭😭
