Is it CANCER? | My recent skin cancer journey.
I have recently had to have a skin cancer on my head removed and tested! This has happened before, but this time, I'm documenting the whole process! If you have questions about what it's like to get a potential skin cancer spot checked, I'm happy to chat in the comments.
This is the first time I've done something like get my skin cancer checked while on our insurance for self employed. Let me know any questions you have about that too!
I am taking you step by step through my skin cancer removal appointments. I am also giving you a cost break down for my skin cancer removal and how we are planning to pay for this medical expense as we now are self employed!

You had Mohs procedure. I had on face at a dermatologists office. I agree the sound reminded me of cutting cardboard. Mine was over lip and had part of lip removed, up to nose and down chin. 2.5 yrs later totally healed, little scarring but still some numbness
Had a basal cell in center of forehead that developed from renegade chicken pox scar. Had the Mohs surgery and you cannot tell anything was there ❤

My spot on my nose looked just like yours. Mine was squamous cell carcinoma. With insurance I still had to pay 1500.00!

Isn't it crazy how expensive it is to stay healthy!?
Glad you got it taken care of I had melanoma on my back a couple years ago and still have an awful scar. Routine skin checks now!
