You owe no explanation Norm. I’m recently retired and for 42 years I had to answer to someone else. You and Kim are very hardworkers, as I once was too. Now I just putter around and enjoy what God has given me. Love all your upgrades, looks like you are going to be well prepared for Winter. Good job.
Take your time building your dream! We’ll catchup whenever you have time to post an update.
Good to see you so we know you are fine!! God bless
No need to explain yourselves it is YOUR LIFE! Though I will confess I have missed you both and were praying all was well with you. That is a LOT of work for both of you. As I watch your off grid homestead progress I can't help but think what a BIG financial investment you have made. Enjoy your time with your friends and we will be here when it works for you. You have made a lot of progress and summer is short and it is completely understandable what you want to complete before the cold rolls in.
Hi Norm! Hi Kim! Hi Jazz! Lots going on around the Barndo… amazing progress! This winter will be the best with all of your hard work. Thanks for the quick update! 🏡 🐶 ❤
Wow that is impressive work you all got done! I can only imagine all the projects you have on your plate 👍 I’ll see you when I see you! Take care you two!
Good lord, threatening to unsubscribe. What a tool. You guys are doing exactly what you need to do, and anyone who is a decent human being will just wait and see you when we see you. Hope you can get all that stuff done. It's a LOT.
Thank you for your update! Been wondering if all was well. Congrats 🎉on all your projects!
Welcome back nice to see you was worried about you
Hey Norm, glad to see you are back! I know what you mean about can’t work like you use to when you were younger. I’ll be 70 before long and I know I can’t work like I used to. Take your time and it will all come together. You’re doing a great job. You guys are a good team!
I remember you saying that u tube videos were for grandchildren’s memories of you two. We are fortunate to have you both share a bit with us.
Hey norm think the world of you and Kim just a tip you may already do we had something we always did on the job’s it was called take two before moving on to the next step. Helps avoid any potential problems or mistakes. Just step back take a good look survey everything to make sure before moving on. I always thought We would be able to do what y’all are doing and even though it didn’t work out it’s okay. Once again proud of what y’all are accomplishing. From a 80 yr old retired construction worker from south Louisiana the very best to you and Kim .

I’m retired at 63 and yes it takes a lot of time all Summer up in Idaho just to get ready for Winter. Carry on!
You guys are doing a great job!! Glad to see all projects coming along and glad your both ok
It's YOUR channel.. ignore those cranky people. I just turned 62 today but not ready for retirement. I have saved a small chunk. I'd love to buy some land with Greenery and a view of the mountains.. I'd be ok with 1 acre.. but I'll settle for what God can provide. Nice solar setup. Looking forward as you are as well to seeing it work silently.
Y'all are Awesome. Keep building your dream. No worries. Enjoy watching your progress.
IM JUST SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU GUYS.. NORM YOU TWO LIVE LIFE ON YOUR TERMS AND MAKE NO APOLOGIES ABOUT IT.. IM GLAD YOUR MAKING GREAT PROGRESS.. I UNDERSTAND MY DAUGHTER AND FAMILY ARE IN SAGLE AREA WAITING FOR ME TO COME UP.. GOD BLESS LOVE YOU ANNAMAY

Congrats on your progress! We understand not having the time. It’s a lot of work
Thank you much for the update, it's all looking good. I don't think anyone on KZread wants to lose Subscribers, but those who demand content instead of having the grace to be human should unsubscribe and go kick rocks. I survive off grid and struggle every day with just the little things of everyday life, I couldn't imagine videoing life/projects. Thanks for the video and I hope all 3 of you enjoy your day.

100% agree. It’s a bit of a selfish attitude that particular viewers has. The best thing is those viewers are few and far between. Most are awesome.
Glad to see what is happening. We were wondering how much was getting done. No need to explain Just live your life and let us know once in awhile how its going💕💕
Hi norm an kim great to se huge progress with your inverters and battery storage in and almost ready to connect up . That was one big task and you got help to get the hot water underfloor woodburner all fitted that was a big job . Thank you for the explanation on what's been going on and yes you both are not young but nno need to feel pressure both of you as you say are 67 years young and at this age it s not so easy to have huge strength and stamina but what has been done is a lot and building internal wall for power set up insulation its a lot .so with woodburner and electric it will make it so much more comfortable this late fall /winter for both of you and with heat light you will be able to get the house inside fitted out great up date and just go at your own pace i will keep watching the videos as and when you post be proud of what you both done its fantastic norm kim
Glad to see you are both good. We've been a little concerned but life happens. You've been so busy, maybe you can find an editor. You do you, they say. Take care and God bless you. We'll be here. Oh! Maybe some folks should subscribe and not just watch and comment!

Bush Hog is a brand but the generic name is rotary mower.
IM SUPER PROUD OF YOU AND KIM AND WHAT YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS YOU WILL BE SO COMFORTABLE THIS WINTER LOVE YOU ANNAMAY
Nice work. You could have tied a NEW string to the ground wire and pulled it back. Then tie future string to everything and pull it and ground back through. Just a thought. Nice new Ink?

Hello Kim and Norm!! I have been missing you guys!! 🙋♀️🦋✨️
When it comes to Solar and Off Grid, you can't have enough. Think about emergencies, winter and defects of the system.
Good job Norm. Keep going and enjoy every day.
I just enjoy seeing what you have done, don't really need a step by step video of the projects themselves. I have a small channel and it's time consuming editing video.
Hey Norm, great job! We will always stick with you and Kim!

I planted clover too on my property, but I am a Amateur Beekeeper. So I have Apiaries, plus some nice wildflowers. I like darker honey, it is better for you.
Glad to see you! You have made lots of progress!
Great progress since the last time I viewed.
Make videos when you can! I will be there to watch. from Ga.
LOVE everything you 2 do❤
Great to see you again. Just an idea. Perhaps research placing weights on your Solar Array frame as counterbalance weight, taking the load off of the actuators. You ought to be able to move that with one finger then. :) Glad you're back online. Stay safe.

One channel that I watch was dealing with the issue of how much time it takes to edit and produce videos to share with subscribers and they said they reduced that amount of time by being more diligent at recording more focused content. Less editing time as a result. Just thought I’d share what I heard from another channel. Thanks for sharing your videos! You two, wait, three (can’t forget Jazz) are awesome.

Keep doin' what works for you and don't worry 'bout the negative vibes from a few subscribers. ER is lookin' great, although I haven't seen an eagle in your videos for a long time. Perhaps I missed it. Thanks for the update. Will you be going south this next winter?
Could you tie all the ground mount cranks together so you could basically turn one crank and the rest follow along? One big long 2x6 with holes for crank handles....LOL

Thassa lossa power! I am installing a 6000XP, About 5k of panels and two of those batteries and think it's enuf! I may have to add but easy to do... May I suggest you look at milsurp for a diesel genset, a huge one to charge batteries if necessary. They are lightly used (some) and built like a tank.
I have a lot better luck sucking the bag thru (with a shop vac) a conduit with wires in it, than trying to blow it thru.

Interesting. I thought it was sixes 🤷🏻♂️
@Sylvan_dB

@@MountainBeaches I attribute the difference to a total seal on the vac end between the vac hose and conduit, and no drag or interference trying to fit a nozzle around the string as it gets sucked in.
@MountainBeaches

@@Sylvan_dB Makes sense. Thanks.
Why not put the rope thru the 3” conduit before you buried it? I know probably was an afterthought, I know how that goes.
@MountainBeaches

The plan all along was to blow a sting through and then use the string to pull the rope. That part worked flawlessly and was so easy.
Do you have a STARLINK on your caravan? And do you like it?

You owe nobody an explanation for not videos I'm also 67 and things don't go as fast as it did when I was 40.now you learn to listen to your body not your head relax and enjoy
I know y’all y’all are retired, but how serious about y’all want to stay up there in the country? Y’all sure are slack about getting stuff done.
