It was definitely not a choice, I didn't wake up one day and think to myself....oh I think I will be gay today. I had no concept that being a lesbian was even a real thing. I was not exposed to any lgbt content when I grew up in the 90s. One day shortly after the start of puberty I turn around in maths class and this girl removes her hair tie and shakes out her hair. Suddenly out of nowhere I was taken over by this strange sensation going up my spine, feeling hynotized, my mouth gapping and my eyes popping out of my sockets. I couldn;t even fake that reaction if I tried. It came out of nowhere and caught me totally by surprise. It shook me. I did not choose.

I know a lot of people will disagree with me but but I think being a gay or lesbian (not transgender though) is a choice ,we all know that our growing environment has lot to do with our personality so similarly what we are watching on 18+ platforms or other platforms also has huge effect on our sexual orientation , I don't hate them for being that just like I can't hate a person for his or her personality . This is just what I think if I m wrong, I would like to be corrected.
