Is Haas About To Become a TOP UNBEATABLE Team In F1?
Haas’ role in Formula One is a confusing one. Are the American team? Well they might have an American owner but they don’t make a fuss about being American and their cars are built in Italy anyway. Are they trying to work themselves toward the front of the grid? Again, not really. They’re pretty honest about not having the resources to be in a position to fight for podiums, ever. Are they just run as a business then? Kind of, maybe. F1 teams do make money now thanks to the budget cap but if Gene Haas really wanted to make some money, wouldn’t he just sell the team to someone and walk away with the best part of a billion dollars? For the longest time they’ve been viewed as just another back marker team with almost no aspiration of being anymore than that. However, that is starting to change and today, I’m going to tell you why Haas, with the help of some new allies, are on the brink of becoming a serious player in Formula One. I’m George, you’re watching F1 Reverse, and this is don’t @ me, the show where I try to justify a ridiculous hot take.

You gotta love Haas for their determination and never say die attitude. They're the underdogs who you always want to do well. It's great to see them in F1 and to get a few points now and again.
I personally can't see Haas ever finishing the season any better than 5th in the constructers' championship. Unless there is a season where 2 of the big 3 absolutely get it wrong after a regs' change. I think Red Bull, Mercedes, Ferrari, and McClaren just have too much of a leg up on the rest of the field.

Williams were top once and one of the most decorated teams In f1 history. Surprising how things can change
Colin McCrae Subaru for starters, Lancia Martini, Audi Sport Quatro....need I go on..Ha!!

I will never understand the obsession with the 555 Subaru, yes the gold rims are cool but otherwise it's just a blue car with 555 written on top of it in massive letters. The Lancia Martini is nice but the colour choice is better on the Toyota. The Quartro is a sick car but that's what made it look good, not the livery. IMHO of course haha
HDT Holden Torana A9X 79. HDT 1984 Holden Commodore driven by Peter Brock. 1993 Larry Perkins Castrol Commodore. 2002 Mark Skaife HRT Holden Commodore. The iconic BWM black and gold livery Just keeping it to full-time liveries.

Some alright ones there, though I definitely disagree with the Holden Commodore. The Castrol Toyota is still better though I think
Thats a celica, not corolla :)

There was a Castrol liveried Corolla at 1 point also
What livery is better than the Toyota Castrol Celica or Corolla? I personally would go with the Alitalia Lancia Stratos 037. If you want similar complimentary colors to that of the Toyota, the Lancia Stratos gives it a run for its money in my book.

That is a good shout actually. Someone said the Martini Lancia but I think that the one you said is better
Ywah I definitely see Haas getting a podium in 2025, with lots of points. They could finish 4th or 5th in constructor
Who the heck is Italian American in this story?
I think they're positioned perfectly to be the feeder team for Ferrari. Like VCARB for Red Bull. Wonder if that would make a more lucrative deal than partnering with Toyota

Isn’t that what they’ve been doing?
No bc everybody is just copying rb. By the time they get fast enough, it'll be 2026, and regulation change
Hulkenberg needs to go to Mercedes
The haas livery is usually nice to look at in my opinion to be fair
Good take and good humor, nice video. It looks as if Gene Haas is very ill, and might pass away sooner rather than later. And if that happens, and Toyota is coming in, I would call it fantastic legacy he leaves. I - as one of apparently very few - find it refreshing that you still can buy a kind of kit-car and go F1-racing, when everything else F1 is otherwise so regulated. But I am just an old geezer from another time, where even the world champion would be covered in oil up to his elbows, and a driver could go partying and womening all night and go racing the next day, after a repair-beer and a smoke.
No they are getting a good run from Nico Hulkenberg but he is leaving them for Audi.
The 555 Subaru impreza that Colin McRae drove is arguably a better livery than the castrol corolla. In rally.

@@F1REVERSE for me, the blue/yellow combination has always been beautiful In sport and to me the almost tribal tattoo pattern is fantastic. Another brilliant livery from Rally is the Martini Racing livery. Looked great on the Lancia back in the day
The Castrol rally car looked good but also blatantly cheated and got kicked out. I did listen to a good podcast the other day wirh Timo Glock he said the Toyota had better aero figures on the stull born wgen they pulled out ( for finacial reasons ) then the Ferrari.
I thought the channel was narrated by AI this whole time
The martini Lancia deltas look better
Ok Super Toyota Fan boy, first, Toyota only became the #1 manufacturer because of DieselGate. More importantly though, who supplies the engines should Ferrari decide to drop them? I mean its not like BMW or Subaru are making F1 engines anymore.....
Well I hope Toyota and Haas form a partnership and greatly improves. For a while they have been the Three Stooges of F1. It would be great to see a “midfield” team jump up to be a top 3/4 team fighting for actual wins.
Guenther was clearly the problem with Hass. Dude gets fired and the team gets better? I liked Guenther but yea sadly he was the problem and needed to go
After signing Ocon, so they're not a top team.
With enough money and backing, even *_I'D_* be on the verge of becoming a front-running team, all by my lonesome, little self.
love your brutal honesty and lexicological eloquence
The only thing HAAS will ever dominate is a piece of stainless steel.
Write off Gunther at your peril. He’ll be back. 😂 Toyota & HASS? It’ll be Toyota. HASS will sell (like he did in NASCAR) with Gunther on the pit wall!
The Toyota Castrol.... LOL... Not pretty at all or charismatic... Some examples of what is legendary liveries: Lancia Martini, Lotus JPS, McLaren Marlboro...
i do not see Ferrari being substantially better in 2025
Maybe Carlos should go to HAAS, if Toyota comes of course.
No. No they are not.
The Subaru Impreza 555 expertly driven by Colin McRae is hands down the best livery ever

Haas delusion syndrome 😅😅
Amazing what they've achieved since ditching the foul mouthed Guenther. Guess he was the problem all along, what a surprise.
Perez the the Meme bar too which all drivers below 5th place are measured by.
they live at the back and i think it stay that way

Hass has been a joke from day one and that will never change
Haas suck, and they will always suck. They are not an American team. They are owned by an American, but it's not an American team. Andretti has a pure 100%American f1 team, but the snowflakes in f1 won't let the racing legends join the grid because their scared. Trying to use the excuse that Andretti won't be competitive. Hass has never been competitive in the grid except for competing for the back of the grid.
