In regards to the lip gloss/stain in the Moonlight Mermaid collection. With a lot of Asian lip glosses, what you want to do is let is dry down before rubbing your lips together. It makes it shinier and gets rid of the bad taste that it has upon application (didn't realize this until I was watching an Asian youtuber after I'd had that gloss for months).

Oh wow, that's good to know. I have an Unleashia tint that I absolutely hateeeee the taste of but loved everything else about it, it sounds like maybe I need to try it again and give it time to dry down first

Those light, shimmery eyeliners are to highlight your eye bags "aegyosal".

Wish they had deeper shades of blush for different skintones. I know that people say "it's Asian" but as an Asian, that really doesn't make sense to me... have you ever met a Southeast Asian? They are typically in the medium-tan range. It is also apparently common practice for medium skintone East Asians to buy and ship their makeup from family in US. If you've ever been around a large population of East Asians, you'll see that they span the range and it just means makeup is not accessible to those in the homeland.

Yep, this is not southeast Asia ie Cambodia, Laos, Philippines etc. Maybe more northeast asia Japan, Korea, china?

Totally, as a Vietnamese I can see a lot of Vietnamese naturally have medium or medium deep skin tone.

Also, if you’re marketing to an international market then you need to have a good range of products that works for a variety of skintones. I’m nowhere near East Asia and I get ads from them on a regular basis. I don’t have a dark skintone but even I couldn’t use those lighter blushes (the cream ones would work for me though probably).

This is a popular brand in China and definitely not just for collection purposes. But like most Asian makeup brands, it is not very friendly to those with darker skins. This issue mainly applies to their blushes and setting powders. Their eyeshadows and highlighters are pretty pigmented. Their lip products are decent too.

I was so nervous about flower knows bc its a little pricey for the palettes but i got one of the swan ballet palettes for Christmas and its SO good. the mattes are so workable and the shimmers are super high shine.

Ngl I didn't realise Flower Knows and Florasis were different brands and got super confused by the intro

I bought one of their eyeshadows. Beautifully packaged and the colours suit my yellow undertones. I'm liking it.

It's awesome when the makeup inside looks just as pretty on as it does in the packaging

I love these pretty makeups ive seen so many online. I have never wanted to own the makeup however its cute for my daughter to play with when she plays dress up. Lol

I tried Flower Knows eye shadow a long time ago, they were okay but this palette looks like its more pigmented. Hope they come out with deeper blush colors. I like the blue eye look you did!

I have the Black Swan palette and it has honestly one of the best pigments I have ever tried.

That blue highlighter though!!! Absolutely beautiful (here comes a cliche!) INSIDE AND OUT, buuuuut that's just now how I wanna spend $30.

The shiny lipsticks are the ones from the swan ballet collection, the little angel lipsticks are matte. I have one of the swan ballet lipsticks and really like it cos i also love shiny lippies :)

Your jumpsuit is giving me Leelu vibes - Those buttons are just adorable.

The packaging is just stunning

Who would have thought there was a somewhat natural blue highlight out there! The look turned out really pretty and I feel like I get so many ads for Flower Knows so always excited to see reviews of what is flooding my feed! 💙

I see their ads a lot too. They've got a huge market in China which probably gives them way too much $$$ for marketing lol

I really love Flower Knows! I have the entire Moonlight Mermaid collection (it was the only way to get the fancy cabinet that goes with it lol) and the blue and brown shadow palette is my absolute favorite. I've been eyeing the black palette from the Little Angel collection but I'm currently on a no buy so it's going to have to wait. The look you did today is essentially my favorite way to use it, it was really fun seeing someone do a really similar look.

Judy loves Flower Knows. Her looks especially the under eye lashes are so beautiful

I love Flower knows, their powders are the best, I love other things too, blushes are a pit sheer but nice. Lip gloss and sticks are great too.I dont have any highlighters but heard they are good

I love Flower Knows! I too was skeptical and worried that all of the cost was in the packaging but not so-it’s really nice makeup. I have items from each of the collections and I really enjoy the different lip formulas that are offered. Don’t dismiss those little short handle brushes; they are actually quite good. I find their customer service to be outstanding; they are truly committed to customer satisfaction.

I would love to try this brand when my budget allows! The packaging is so incredibly beautiful 💖

I highly recommend Kiehl’s avocado eye cream. It’s MOISTURISING. Signed someone with very dry under eyes

The reviews arent very good for that cream. The best Ive found, although expensive, is laneige water bank. My skin is super dry but that cream just feels like silk. Even my husband asked me to use it every day, and hes not much for taking care of his skin. It just feels that good!

Honestly for this look I like the blush on you. It will start to look clowny if you had a bolder blush. There will be too much to look focal points and the makeup will look off. For bolder eyes, you have to mute the cheeks. If you have a bold cheek you mute the eyes. It’s about balance and less is more. Plush that blush made you instantly look more youthful.

I like to use Cerave gel oil to help alleviate dry patches on my face. Just a tiny pea size is all you need, and I get immediate relief from the chapped feeling.

I literally just bought one of the Swan blushes (#4) at my favorite Asian market. I am very pale human so it works well for me. The texture is very soft and builds up very naturally.

I have bought selectively some items and i eo love them for what they are ethereal great quality make up with impressive intricate unique packaging and embossing ❤. I chose sales though since these are not items i will use daily. Setting compact powder though i am using a lot and i love it for the tzone

Try Aquaphor topped over an eye cream on your undereyes to lessen the drying affects of tretinoin.

Try Elemis Ultra Rich formula for your under eyes. ☺️ I’m a few years older than you and have a few more fine lines and wrinkles and I swear by it; it’s the only thing that got rid of my flaking skin. Love your channel!

I have been using REN’s evercalm overnight recovery balm all around my eyes (including my eyelids) and it has been so soothing. My eye area got irritated from some allergens and this has been so lovely to use.

Hi Angie, try CeraVe moisturising cream, or La Roche Posay’s Cicaplast Baume for your under eyes. They have been my life saviours with Tretinoin.❤️ Hope it helps!

Tretinoin can make your skin very dry. Get a lower mix from pharmacy through you skin Dr if the combo you have, it affects your skin negative. I always slather cream on after Tretinoin, so it helps from getting too dry. ❤

Love the look! ❤ 10+yr user of trentinoin here…I do a hydrating serum with silicon patch on top under my eyes, a couple times per week in am before makeup. I like Angel eye patches. They were an indy skin care brand but I heard they came to Sephora??

Shein sells Flower Knows along with many other amazing asian brands. It’s easy to get ahold of in Australia (rare win) and I love the packaging designs. And the price isn’t insane! What’s not to like!? 🎉

I was told by a dermatologist to put Vaseline under eyes and then apply tretnoin to avoid “tretnoin from tretnoining”. I still want some tretnoin under my eyes though🤪 because they are going to need that “anti-aging”

I really like the fresh eye cream in the dark brown container. I'm not home otherwise I'd tell you the name lol.

Tarababyz raves about their loose face powders & her channel was where I first saw the brand. The packaging & presentation are just breath taking but everything looks so pale & subtle in product photos I wouldn't know what to try without actual swatches. If ethereal is your vibe, they have products you will love.
