The DM palette looks like the urban decay movie collabs we used to roast in 2017

As someone who loves warm-toned neutrals, the ND Golden palette looks like the palette of my dreams. I Need a Nude was too neutral, and Bronze didn't have enough contrast. This may be my first-ever midi palette purchase.

I think the ND gold palette is going to be amazing for darker complexions. Darker skin tones weren’t able to get a lot of use out of the I Need a Nude palette bc most of the colors looked dusty so I think the gold palette will be a great addition to the ND family

palette looks fine for fair skin too. What about it is especially good for darker skin tones? Whether gold suits you depends on your undertone.

SAME THOUGHTS. ND Midi Gold is like I Need a Nude for us tanner skin toned gals. The teal and lime shades she did with Yucca. I’m skipping midi gold but that highlighter palette has me intrigued

I just had to declutter a bunch of cream blushes because they became rancid. I definitely regret buying so many at once, considering they have such a short shelf life.

I googled both and both prided themselves on being clean brands unfortunately. Sorry about all the blushes you had to throw out tho 🤧 If you ever feel like trying cream blushes again I’ve had good luck with fenty. I find the stick versions from brands such as Colourpop also tend to last well too!

I actually really liked the Rose Inc. blushes. While there are some "expired" makeup products I can still use, I don't trust an expired cream blush not to break out my cheeks!

I have a warm olive undertone and the original ND Gold is one of my favorite palettes in my entire collection because of the pops of color and because the neutrals skew toward warm olives. The new gold is pretty but the original is the most flattering neutral palette for me in my collection, so sad she didn't bring back the original in the midi form.

Two have done comparisons and the mattes are actually original aside from 1 that is from another palette so the neutrals will be there. Many of the shimmers are the same as well. The pops of blue are missing is all.

I'm so sad about Natasha D. Sad gold pallette. It's so boring. Her monochrome pallettes are getting to be ridiculous. The teals in the original gold are not similar to the ones in Yucca. And over three quarters of the pallette is repeats so it's just a shame she left them out.

That’s what I’m thinking as well. I don’t mind using the monochromatic midi’s and adding a special shade to shift things around. I think it would complement any of the more colourful shades and palettes ND has released. I don’t have the OG palette but I do have the Alter Ego replica. I’m looking forward to a study in tones and textures and formulae.

That’s a great point. It would be repetitive with the teal. I do like the original Gold color story better, the new one lacks depth IMO Yucca is my favorite from her so far though

It is great to see Cover Girl expanding their shade range.The second to lightest one looks like "uncooked chicken " might be a match for me. Today, I tried the NYX pink color corrector stick as a shadow primer, and it worked great. My skintone is pale translucent pink, like Teresa is Dead.

I would love to see ND release a mini palette with the color pops

The cover of the Danessa palette is borderline offensive with how bad it is! 💀 How did they manage to simultaneously make it so on the nose and so unappealing???

Natasha Danona has the Yucca Palette that has mustards , lime green , teal green etc , so I think taking all of those shades out makes this an actual stand alone nuetral gold palette . I know she won't ever be able to please us all , as long as her formulas are still top notch that's the main thing .

Angie, could you speak more about "long names to avoid trademark" thing you mentioned? How would that work? And can you give some recommendations for those really well-formulated products that look dewy on the skin without staying sticky? I've been looking for things like that for years, haha

Brands use long names for their products so that other brands can't sue them, basically. Like some brand releases a Dewy Stick and another brand releases a Dewy Stick, second brand could run into trademark violations. However, if they call it Dewy Starshine Gloss Highlighting Stick, there's less of a chance that there's a trademark for that name.

Makeup by Mario has a bronze and sculpt out, it’s nice! I just tried it. Not sticky at all. It absorbs right in the skin.

DM definitely has an edgier crowd. The collection will do fine. It’s also a pride collections. There’s a huge market.

I am all for the ND new eyeshadow when released. My kind of eyeshadow for my skin tone and never bought the eyeshadow palette previous to this. I love watching KZread but I go by what works for me and not what a person thinks and says on KZread and do not buy makeup for the FOMO. Have a wonderful trip.

She was asking if we were willing to wait for 2-3 weeks for another shipment to arrive. So idk if that will affect you being able to showcase the lipsticks

I liked the original Gold palette and still have mine. It gives the most beautiful eye looks like a peacock feather.

I recommend the Edward scissor hands palette from wicked widow (the one with the snow globe on it) it’s so good!

Okay, watching again as I fell asleep watching it earlier this morning- this time with coffee in hand.

I absolutely love Danessa Myrick's brand, but this release is weird. I guess even the greats fumble at times.

I’m suuuper excited for the Nomad mini palettes! I’ll be traveling a bit more this year and have really been wanting some indie palettes I feel comfortable traveling with. Definitely planning to pick up the Oslo one, even without having seen the entire color story yet 🤣 would love to see some swatches from you, even if it’s a very short reel!

The C-3PO leaned more yellow to me versus the Warrior 3 had mustard tones through all the shades if that makes sense. But … you know, ND’s photos never have color accuracy so we won’t know till they release the palette. I swear who ever is editing their photos and fabricating their hideous fake swatches has to be partially colorblind.

I bought the Tower 28 x Ouai St. Bart’s gloss because I love the St. Bart’s scent. To me St. Bart’s doesn’t smell floral or clean at all, I personally hate ‘clean’ scents and am picky about florals. Tower 28 doesn’t put fragrance in their products from what I’ve seen and read, so this was interesting, but they did share it’s not injected with fragrance, the St. Bart’s scent is created from entirely food grade ingredients to achieve it. I have received it already and it’s very light in scent, unobtrusive, so I love it. Unlike some lip products which go overboard on their sweet scents.

Natasha posted on her IG stories that it was an accident but they're gonna do the sneak peaks as usual in the next few weeks even though they accidently leaked it. I think it's quite a coincidence they always get leaked lol. I also have the gold palette, so I don't need this. This new palette and the yucca though, gives those teal gold vibes!

I would definitely recommend the hur ampoule blushes for a glowy (without shimmer) non sticky cheek, they are like skincare though, and can terrify you upon application, but they dry down and look amazing! The eye look today makes me want to break my no buy so bad! Have an awesome weekend!

I had to look at all the photos to understand the DM palette was designed to be ❤is❤ on the inside. The hearts on the outside are a really beautiful design and (once I understood what I was looking at) the inside is cute too, but clusters of different shaped pans against the colorful hearts is visually overwhelming.

The Kosas blushes look like Milani from about 6 years ago. Milani’s baked blush formula is beautiful!

May I ask what you’re wearing on your lips? It’s beautiful! ❤

Those Saie liquid bronzers I'm definitely getting😊 I think the description sounds not up my alley either, like at all.. but idk if you've tried their liquid blushes but they describe them the same way and I love those, I use one at least once a week. I do set it with powder but it does dry down and is beautiful and i loooove the color options and they blend like a dream, barely takes any effort🧡🧡🧡 but I'm really really hoping these new bronzers will be the same type of formula because if it is I'll absolutely love it! They're in the same kind of packaging so I have a good feeling about it😊🥰✨️
